The lights dip around the Estadio Municipal de Braga in Portugal. Joe Walsh’s “Turn to Stone” fills the silence with its staccato guitar. From the back steps a man with a blonde mop-top haircut that he sweeps out of his eyes. He adjusts the Boston University Red tie to his collar and smiles to the hard camera as he steps forward down the aisle. The crowd remain lukewarm to him, unsure of what to make to the newcomer. He ignores the smattering of fans with outstretched hands, instead choosing to lean into the camera:
Man: Dean Anderson, Savile Row!
He lets go of the lapels on his navy check tweed jacket and uses the lens to adjust his fringe. As he approaches ringside he grabs a microphone from the timekeeper and rolls under the bottom rope as the lead riff fades out to lyrics. He makes a ‘cut it’ motion towards the back to silence the music.
Man: Boa noite, Braga! Como estás?
The crowd respond favorably to their native tongue.
Man: My name is Cross Recoba....and this….this is your lucky night, Braga.
Recoba leans over the top rope as he settles into his spiel.
Cross Recoba: You’ve all got great foresight here. You took the chance to buy tickets when Valor wasn’t a certainty, you bought tickets because you love wrestling, because you want to check out the unknown...for that, you should congratulate yourselves…
The crowd self-congratulatory cheer themselves.
Cross Recoba: ...and that’s the great thing about you guys. You LOVE wrestling, you bought these tickets, you saw the product, you stayed with it - keen to see where it was going. And where did it take you to? It took you to right now, the first sighting of a true star within the business….it took you to a break from the rest of the roster, the chupa-rolas, it took you to the debut of CROSS...RECOBA!
The fans become split, the newcomer’s words and intentions becoming apparent.
Cross Recoba: Everyone in attendance can have something to boast about, no longer are you just the people who make Spain look productive, no longer will you be defined by the fact your wife raises more money in Movember than you….you can brag over a bottle of Sagres that you, yes - Joao, you - saw my first appearance in Valor Pro Wrestling!
The split that was apparent just moments ago has now become firmly united in a sea of boos.
Cross Recoba: You can quit your whining! My people gave yours their language, before that you were just savages who could mine, then we turn up and gave you culture, warfare, exploration! Now, what can I bring you tonight? I’m bringing a message...I’ve been watching Valor plan their grand showpiece, The Seven Pillar Gauntlet Match, and I’m here to be a part of it! I’m not here to wait for an opportunity to strike, I’m not here to be part of Valor’s story. I’m here because I AM THE AUTHOR OF VPW! I’M THE NARRATOR TO MY OWN FUTURE! You might not have seen my work but here’s a summation - I AM THE MAN WORTH A THOUSAND BULLETS...I AM THE HAMMER...AND LOVE ME OR HATE ME - I AM BOX OFFICE!
Recoba drops the mic to a chorus of boos that mute ‘Turn to Stone’ as the scene fades to the Othello Brothers in their studio.
Kenneth Othello: Welcome folks to another edition of Flipping The Script where we, Kenneth and Laurence Othello, will be breaking down the events from Valor Pro Wrestling's Blitz #3!
Laurence Othello: And what a way to open the show, eh Ken? Cross Recoba, The Fox!, has arrived in VPW!
KO: That is definitely a bombshell, Laur, and one that has already sent shockwaves through the VPW Universe!
LO: Folks, we can't talk in great detail about everything that happened in this show right now, as it would ruin the whole broadcast, but just let me tell you, if you haven't been convinced yet that VPW is the place you need to be, then after tonight you will be.
KO: That's right, Laur. Tickets have already went on sell for 7 Pillars, which will come to you for the first time LIVE from the Futasi Arena in Rome, Italy!
LO: And we have two huge matches, one of which Cross Recoba has already demanded to be apart of, the 7 Pillars of Rome Gauntlet Match that will crown a new champion for a new championship!
KO: And with the dissolving of the weight classes, we are finally going to decide who will be the Undisputed Gladiator Champion, when current Monarch Champion, Elina Cartel, goes head to head with current Gladiator Champion, Ace Devereux.
LO: You'll see those two later on in the broadcast when we review the Tag Team Main Event of Blitz #3, but folks, first things first....lets check in on what else has been going on backstage!
A figure comes into focus as it...dances closer to the camera, and soon the audience can see that it is none other than Zachariah Krähe already prepared for the ring. Though its highly doubtful that he will be wearing his headphones into the ring.
He seems to be checking into each room, as he sways and bumps down the hall.
When his eye catches the camera he gives it a wink and begins to hum out The Scissor Sister's "I can't decide".
This goes on for a good moment before he comes to a closed door. Looking at the camera he puts a finger to his lips, and listens intently.
A mischievous grin twisting the corners of his lips, before he suddenly bust the door in shocking none other than Siberia Zombie.
"Surprise beautiful! Did ya miss me?" He says this with both hands flung up in the air. His voice overly loud due to the music in his ears.
Siberia is putting on her gear for her match, but doesn’t flinch when Zachariah barges in. She adjusts her top in the mirror, and stares at him. She walks up to him, and gets in his face.
“Shut up! Don’t you know how to knock? I could have been… not ready.”
She crosses her arms in front of him wondering if any of that got through.
He slowly lowers his arms grin still firmly in place. Lip reading is an often overlooked invaluable skill in his line of work, but that isn't something she needs to know.
"You didn't hit me? I'm kinda disappointed." He continues to speak loudly, as the music blares in his ears. Idly he wonders when her patience will run out, and if he will have to buy new headphones.
Siberia stares at his smiling eyes to find that something is amiss. She finally notices his headphones and sighs. She backs up while facing him with a multitude of actions going through her head. She follows the line of the headphones into his pocket and reaches for his phone.
He doesn't stop her, in fact his only reaction is to raise his eyebrows as if in challenge.
She takes his phone from his pocket, slightly nods in appreciation of the song, but pauses it to let the phone go and drop it to the ground.
"Pay attention. Why do you insist on interrupting me?"
He never moved to stop her, and never voiced an objection. He seemed content to merely watch her with all the amusement of a curious cat. "Because dear Si I am a selfish creature, and a little interruption is good for you."
"I'm really getting to see that. The selfish part. I don't know about the interruption. We have very important matches coming up. Best to stay focused"
She holds the phone out to him as if she is going to snatch it away the moment he reaches for it.
His eyes sparkled with his typical mischief and pleasure. He had to wonder if she consciously realized this was the first time she had willingly played along with his antics.
Instead of reaching for the phone he held up his hand palm up. His smile showed just how willing he was to wait for the phone.
"You're right we do have matches, though yours will not be nearly as interesting as mine since I will not be the person you're facing." His tone was pure conviction that made one think he might just believe his own teasing words.
Siberia almost put the phone in his hand until he brought up the subject about them facing each other. The memories of their last match came flooding into her mind. And the anger she felt at the end of it.
"I don't think we should ever be in a ring together again any time soon."
He easily picked the phone from her fingers with a gentle grip. His smile never fading for a moment. If anything her answer only made it widen.
"Would you like to put money on you being just fine with it in the future?" Despite his easy confidence it was nearly impossible to find his easy draw insulting.
Siberia resisted pushing that smile away and just stepped back away from him.
"If we did it again it would have to be something special. Something where we could just handle this without any issues like last time. RIght now I'm just focusing on my little introduction to the champions. You got a little beast after you that you should be focusing on."
"Hmmm, yes on that note do me a favor and watch yourself tonight in and out of the ring."
This got a laugh out of her
"I think we both know I can handle myself in both areas. I am more concerned about your opponent if I was being honest"
"Exactly..." His face was serious as he slipped his earbuds back in, and ruined the somber expression with a wink.
"Good talk Si, and good luck." Once more he was back to speaking overly loud to compensate for the music in his ears, but this time he didn't stick around to hear her reply. With a smart ass salute and a crooked grin he was slipping out the open door, and Siberia was left to sort out the chaos that always seemed to follow him.
She was left speechless, but she watched him leave before shutting her door loudly.
KO: And this unusual relationship that is developing between Zombie and Krähe continues.
LO: Yeah, they are definitely an odd couple considering what happened last week.
KO: Which in contrast to that event, this opening bout was all about jockeying for position in the rankings, seeing a rematch of sorts between Zachariah Krähe and Brodie.
LO: They last time they saw each other was in a three way that also involved Megan Rydell, and although Brodie won the match, she didn't pin Krähe for the victory.
KO: Do you think that Zachariah Krähe may have taken exception to that, and that's why he is getting a one on one to rectify the situation.
LO: You know, Ken, I'm not sure Krähe is the type of dude that cares either way.
KO: I guess you guys can be the judge of that, so lets get into it.
A shot of Zachariah Krähe making his way down to the ring to 'Beat the Devil’s Tattoo' by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, a smooth smile spread across his face as he goes. He climbs the steps once at ringside, and slips through the ropes nonchalantly, soaking in the mixture of boos and cheers that the fans are giving him. He shrugs in a non-committal gesture, and then casually leans against the ring ropes to await his opponent.
KO: The Fans still aren't sure what to make of Krähe, who was last seen stalking a guy in a bar while polishing off Siberia Zombie's drinks.
LO: Yeah, what's going on with those two? Are they an item.
KO: I don't know that Zach Krähe has items. More like a fling, maybe?
LO: Could be completely platonic. Either way, unlike Krahe's uneventful entrance, Brodie came in like a rock star!
A shot of Brodie bursting through the curtain to 'Viktoria Modesta' by Prototype, and gives a rebel yell to the crowd who pop with excitement. She bebops down to the ring, exchanging 'too sweet' hand gestures with a few fans as she goes, and laughs raucously before hopping up onto the ring apron, and slipping into the squared circle. Her devil may care attitude seems to come to a stop when she spies Krähe staring at her intensely, as if he were sizing her up for a meal. Brodie shakes her head, and gives the crowd one last acknowledgement before steeling her gaze to match her opponents.
KO: The fans have really taken to Brodie, who is undefeated so far in her VPW run.
LO: This is only her third match dude! Besides, if you mention her win streak you might jinx it.
KO: Whatever. Well right from the bell there was a little cat and mouse between these two, and I'm not sure which was which.
LO: Yes sir, Krahe would back Brodie up into the corner and go for a strike, but she would side step before anything could land.
KO: Then it was Brodie's turn, as she tried to get Krähe locked into a few quick grapples, but he managed to reverse or avoid them altogether.
LO: Finally, Krähe, being the gentleman he is, proposed a test of strength. That didn't go exactly as planned.
A shot of Krähe holding his hand up in the air, ironically smiling all the while, trying to bait Brodie into locking up. Regardless of the size difference, however, Brodie stomps right up to Krähe and laces her fingers in his, and then the other hand. The academic happens when Krähe uses his size to twist Brodie's arms straight down, and bends her fingers back. She allows this to happen so that she can deliver a vicious headbutt right across the bridge of the mans nose. Krähe releases his grip in surprise, a hand flashing up to his nose, but can't concentrate too long on the injury as Brodie flies in like a bee on a tree with fast and furious forearms that knock him back into the ropes. Brodie moves to shoot him off, but Krahe reverses it, and on his way back he attempts to take her head off. Brodie ducks the shot, and then takes off in the same direction as Krahe. When Krahe hits off the ropes, Brodie is close enough to throw both feet into the mans chest with a dropkick that sends him sailing up and over to the outside.
KO: Brodie wasted little time before stepping out to the ring apron, and waiting on Krähe to get to his feet. The minute he was vertical, she came running across and dove off to hook him around the head from behind for a massive bulldog on the concrete.
LO: Yeah, and from there she had him moving up to his feet only to get him back in the ring for a quick pin!
KO: Krähe got out at one, but it was obvious that Brodie had him on the ropes.
A clip of Brodie pulling Krähe into a sitting position, and then locking in a rear naked choke. Krähe struggles for a moment, his face turning red as the oxygen is cut off from him. Finally, he calms himself, and makes the slow trek to shifting up to one knee, forcing Brodie up to her feet. A few seconds more, and he has both feet under him, and he drives a few hard elbows into Brodie's midsection which eventually causes her to make the break. Finally, he takes her by the wrist and sends her hurtling towards the ropes, and when she rebounds, he ducks his head for a back body drop. Brodie see's the telegraph, however, and uses the momentum to roll right up and over to land behind the man. She hits off the ropes once more, but Krähe is there with a lariat that looks like it turns her inside out.
KO: And this is probably the first time we've ever seen this side of Krähe. His match with Zombie last show had its moments of intensity, but much of that came from Zombie's side of the camp. In this one, Zachariah Krähe proved that he was not a man to take lightly.
LO: It was definitely a different Krähe, who promptly hopped on top of Brodie after the lariat, and started delivering some serious ground and pound. At one point, Brodie managed to roll completely over onto her stomach to try and protect her face, but Krähe pulled her head up with a fist full of hair, and drove forearms right into the side of her skull.
KO: Yeah, and after the Ref finally pulled Krähe off of her and the match continued, he waited til she got to her feet only to wind up and send her back to the mat with a vicious right hand.
A clip of Brodie, now bruised and bleeding from her lip, crawling towards the rope with a cool, calm, collected Krahe stalking her like a hunter stalks his game. She finally gains her feet, but Krähe is there with a stiff knee to her midsection, followed by another, and then one more for good measure. He then sends her off the ropes, and she rebounds back to him where he catches her with that Back Body Drop that he was looking for earlier. Brodie strikes the mat, and looks to have the breath taken out of her, just as Krähe drops a knee right into her midsection, and pulls her leg up for a modified pin.

KO: Brodie was out at two, but the tempo was set for Krähe. That is until he sent her into the far corner and tried to follow her in, only for Brodie to manage to slide out of the way. Things took a turn from there, in this very back and forth match up.
LO: Ken, would you say this was a clash of styles? Sure, both have some good mat work, but Krähe seems to focus a good bit on strikes, while Brodie is more the submission specialist.
KO: I think that is exactly how this one played out, which is why seeing different styles pitted against each other is so interesting.
A shot of Brodie with Krähe down on the mat, his left arm tied up like a pretzel in an arm bar. Brodie looks absolutely fierce with her blood stained gritted teeth, as she uses on hand to torque on the arm, and the other to get a handful of hair just to yank Krähe's head back. The referee admonishes her, and gives her a five count, but before he can reach '5', she slips her arm around Krahe's head to hook him into a dragon sleeper. She manages to lock her fingers with the hand torquing the arm, to turn the hold into one that no one had ever seen. Just then, she violently snaps to her back, grapevining Zach's body with her legs. Ultimately, it looks like the man is being attacked by an octopus, with no where for him to go. The referee continues to ask for the submission, but with no way of being able to shake his head 'No', one would assume that he was signaling it in some other way.
LO: So what would you call this move, Ken?
KO: Um....Well...the Dragon Sleeper Arm Bar Leg Scissors?
LO: Sounds about right. It's like she had him in three different holds at once, and Zachariah was having a difficult time of moving towards the ropes. After about three solid minutes of this hold, he did manage the rope break, but seriously, the amount of damage he sustained in doing so seemed to take a lot of steam out of him.
A scene of Brodie releasing the hold at the behest of the referee, and getting to her feet as Krahe just lies there sucking in much needed oxygen. After a moment, Zach uses the ropes to get to his knee's, and manages to get one foot under him before Brodie hit's off the opposite ropes for momentum, and then leaps so that she lands on the back of his shoulders in a seat position. Krähe pitches forwards wildly, his upper chest and throat striking the middle rope. Brodie remains seated on the mans shoulders for a moment, a bloody grin on her face, bouncing a few times for good measure before hopping off. Krähe drops down to the mat choking, grasping at his throat, before escaping to the outside under the bottom rope.
KO: From here Brodie followed Krähe outside, and the contrast of styles once more reared its ugly head.
LO: Definitely. Brodie was quick to try and get Krähe back in the ring, but a rake to the eyes sent the woman blindly reaching for the guard rails. That's when Krähe waded back in, cradling the back of her head and pulling it down into vicious knee's right to the face.
KO: And all that before sending her hurtling spine first into the ring apron. Finally things moved back into the squared circle, and as Brodie tried getting back to her feet, Krähe came in with a massive punt kick to the skull that I thought may have knocked her out!
LO: Definitely got one of the longest 2 counts in history, but she was still able to get the shoulder up before 3.
A scene of Krähe pulling Brodie up to her feet and sending her off the ropes once more. He maneuvers to go for another back body drop, but Brodie manages to put on the breaks, football kicking Krähe square in the face. This causes the man to rocket to his full height, holding his nose, and Brodie falls back into the ropes for momentum only to return with a butterfly kick. Krähe, however, manages to side step as Brodie's foot harmlessly passes by, hooks her between the legs in a compromising position, and then falls back to roll her up for a pin. The referee drops for the count.

KO: Brodie kicked out at two, and was back on her feet in a flash, managing to duck the clothesline that Krähe tried to take her out with.
A shot of Krähe bouncing into the ropes to return to Brodie, who runs right for the man, hopping up to land on his hip, and catch him right in the back of the head with a shining wizard. Both go down to the mat, but Brodie crawls quickly over to push Zach's body over for a cover of her own.

3NO!
LO: Two quick pins from either competitor led to nowhere, but good god was the action intense!
A clip of Brodie back on her feet, slipping behind Krähe to await his rise. As the man gets to his hands and knees, she rushes in from behind and jumps right on his back, locking him into a Clock Choke. Krähe struggles against the move, only increasing the pressure of the hold on his throat. Finally, after a moment, Krähe's arm hangs helplessly in the air over the mat, and it appears that he might be about to tap out. Suddenly, he shifts the position of his hips to where he is now seated, and his added weight causes Brodie to end up behind him rather than ontop of him. Brodie holds on like a pit bull, but it's clear that the hold is not as effective in this new arrangement. Frustrated, she releases the hold, but sends a forearm right into the back of Krähe's head. While he cradles his skull, both competitors get on their feet, but Brodie is the quicker of the two. She rushes in to try and hook him for a swinging neckbreaker, but instead Krähe sidesteps her and pushes her through. Brodie continues to the rope for some momentum, and when she bounces back she barrels right into a Busaiku Knee Kick. Both crash to the mat, but it's Krähe's turn to scramble for a pin.

3!!!
KO: Folks, all I can say, is what a freakin' match! These two went out there and gave it all they had, and then some.
LO: Yeah, there for a minute I didn't know who was going to take it with so many near falls, but in the end, it's Zachariah Krähe with the victory. I guess that gives him some retribution from their first encounter, but you have to believe that after management saw this one, these two aren't through.
KO: Not by a long shot.
A shot of Zachariah Krähe stumbling to his feet, and then draping himself across the ropes, obviously winded. He wipes a layer of sweat from his brow, allowing the referee to raise his arm in victory, before pulling away and staring down at Brodie who begins to stir. He shakes his head, almost as if amazed, but the feeling leaves him as he looks up at the crowd with a slight smile, and then shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly before dumping out of the ring and heading to the back. Just as he reaches the curtain, he looks back to the ring, where Brodie is now sitting up, burning daggers into the man while holding her jaw.
KO: Man, I would not want to be on the receiving end of that stare.
LO: You and me both, brother!
KO: Speaking of death stares, our next match features Joel Hawkfield, who as of late, seems like he might be walking off the deep end.
LO: Seems? That dude is one step away from being a ward of the state, but he has a huge opportunity to turn it all around, and earn his spot into the 7 Pillars Gauntlet Match!
KO: I believe that Roxi Johnson might take exception with that, as she has the same opportunity. And all either of them have to do is try and gain a pinfall or submission.
LO: Well, technically they could be counted out or disqualified.
KO: Sure, but who the hell want's to see that?
Winner by pinfall: Zachariah Krähe
LO: Yeah, they are definitely an odd couple considering what happened last week.

Othello Score: ****1/2
LO: It seems like every time we see Roxi Johnson that she is being placed on the opposite end of a spectrum of her opponent, and this time is know different.
KO: You're not wrong, Laur. Roxi is like the resident superhero of VPW, fighting for truth, justice, and honor. Meanwhile, Joel Hawkfield is here for blood and destruction, and has even allowed that goal to override his chance at victory.
LO: No denying that Joel is a scary guy, and Roxi is going to have her hands full in this one. Let's see how it all plays out.
A clip of Roxi Johnson bursting through the curtain, the fans coming to their feet in response. They cheer wildly as Roxi slaps hands on her way to the ring, eventually making a complete circuit around the squared circle before sliding in, and then taking a turnbuckle. She thrusts her hands in the air to a big pop, the fans seeming to get louder and louder at her encouragement.
KO: Man! Those fans are hot for Roxi!
LO: To be honest, Ken, I'm a little hot for her myself.
KO: .....You know, Laur, there is such a thing as sexual harassment, even if we are overseas.
LO: Oh, so the fans can be hot for her, but I can't? What kind of bull crap is that?
KO: I'm going to leave you to work that out for yourself, Laur, while I move on to the change in mood when Hawkfield showed up.
A clip of Joel Hawkefield stalking out of the back, the fans turning from cheers to boos. Joe pays them no mind as he rolls under the bottom rope, and pops up, staring across the ring at Roxi while he adjusts his mask. The referee steps up to check Joel, but a growl sends him running.
LO: Joel Hawkfield's personality is like a cheese grater to the face.
KO: Yeah, and before the bell could even sound he had already started the action.
A clip of the ref checking Roxi, when out of nowhere Hawkfield comes steam rolling over to the corner with a clothesline. The Referee only has seconds to get out of the way, as he crushes Roxi into the turnbuckles. He takes a handful of the veterans fiery red hair, pulls her out a bit, only to drive his shoulder right into her abdomen back into the turnbuckles. He repeats the process two more times, before standing at his full height, and driving a vicious right hand to the womans face that drops her to the canvas.
LO: Jesus! There's absolutely no finesse in Joel's style, as he continued to lay the boots to poor Roxi.
KO: Yeah, he was in real danger of being disqualified when the referee reached a count of five, but he sent the man scurrying by turning towards him.
LO: From there, Joel slung Roxi around a bit, showing the massive size difference between them. And folks, we aren't talking traditional wrestling moves either. We're talking grabbing the woman by her head like a vice, and then just slinging her form one end of the ring to the other.
KO: It really looked like this was going to be one sided, until Roxi finally managed to get much needed comeback.
A shot of Joel sending Roxi rocketing to the opposite ropes, and her rebounding like a bullet. The big man goes for a clothesline, but she ducks it, and on her way back ducks his back elbow. Finally, he drops his head for what looks to be a back body drop, but the telegraph is all that Roxi needs to roll right over his back to end up behind him. When Joel realizes his mistake, he turns to try and take Roxi's head off with a clothesline, but she ducks it, and delivers a beautiful drop kick. This doesn't take Joel down, however, only staggering him back into the ropes. Roxi looks determined when she gets another head of steam, and this time throws both feet out in front of her for a front drop kick that catches Joel right in the chest. The impact sends Hawkfield up and over the top rope to the outside, but he still somehow manages to land on his feet. Roxi holds her aching midsection as she climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and just as Joel turns towards her, she launches herself off with a high crossbody. Unfortunately, Joel manages to snatch Roxi right out of the air, and runs her spine first into the steel ring post. Roxi clutches at her back as Joel pulls her back up, and does it once more just for good measure.
LO: Man, Joel Hawkfield has no regard for whether he's facing a man or a woman. Talk about equal opportunity beatings.
KO: Yeah, it was in his first match with Siberia Zombie that we saw that he would take things to the extreme, genders be damned.
LO: From here, Joel tossed Roxi back into the ring, and followed her in. I think he should have went for the cover, but instead, he decided he wanted to punish her more.
KO: What a swell guy.
A clip of Joel dropping his knee right down onto Roxi's skull, and then popping up, just to do it again. He wears a bearded grimace under his mask as he jerks Roxi up to her feet by her wrist, gives it a dragon twist, and then yanks her violently towards his extended bicep for a short arm lariat. The fans boo him unmercifully as he gets another hand full of hair and drags Roxi to her feet, shoving her back into a corner. He fires in three thunderous chops in short succession, before taking her by the wrist and sending her to the far side. He doesn't even let her reach the corner before barreling in for more offense, but to his surprise, Roxi runs right up the turnbuckles and cuts a back flip as he continues through. From behind him now, Roxi drives a knee into Hawkfields back which sends him crashing into the turnbuckle. He manages to spin around, and Roxi rushes him, hopping up so that both her feet land on his hips, and she rocks back with all she's got to take him over with a monkey flip. She rolls through so that she's standing over top of him when he lands, and make a high vertical jump, only to bring both feet crashing back down into his face.
KO: From here, Roxi finally found her rythm, delivering various blows that kept Hawkfield from getting to his feet. Finally, she delivered a massive bulldog from the middle rope, the left the man prone in the middle of the ring.
LO: It really looked like Roxi was going to put him away here, when she climbed to the top rope, and came off with an impressive split-legged moonsault she cause the Superhero Press!
KO: But somehow, Joel Hawkfield got his shoulder up at the last possible second, and this match continued.
A shot of Roxi pounding her fist on the canvas in frustration, but quickly returning to the task at hand. She positions herself behind Hawkfield, bating him to get to his feet, which he slowly tries to comply. Once Upright, Roxi rushes past him, springboards off the second rope, and spins her foot around to catch him with her finisher, Ray of Hope. Hawkfield, however, has other ideas, as he ducks under the shot. When Roxi turns around, she runs right into a bicycle knee that takes her head off. Joel drops down for the cover.

KO: Joel was absolutely irate here, chasing the referee out of the ring, and stomping the turnbuckles. The fans didn't help either, really pouring on the boos.
LO: Yeah, but that temper tantrum nearly cost him this one.
A shot of Joel stalking back over to yank Roxi up by the hair of her head painfully, and starts to try and shoot the arm to get her in a half nelson, but Johnson comes alive to get out of the move. Knowing whats to come if Hawkfield can secure the hold, Roxi, in her struggle, manages to get close enough to the ropes that she steps up to the second, and uses it for needed momentum to send Joel stumbling onto his back, with her rolling through for a quick pin.

KO: Hawkfield powered out there, which damn near put Roxi back on her feet with assistance. When Joel tried to gain his footing, the modern day superhero hit off the ropes from behind him for momentum, and sprung into action by grabbing his head from behind for a bulldog.
LO: She didn't stop there though, as she scrambled back to her feet, and came off the second rope with a springboard moonsault known as the Take Flight.
KO: Unfortunately for Roxi, Joel managed to get his knee's up, and the woman came crashing down to a surprise.
A scene of Roxi rolling off of Hawkfields knees, cradling her stomach, and stumbling around the ring. Hawkfield adjusts his mask as he gets to his feet, Roxi inadvertently stumbling right into the mans clutches. He shoots the half nelson, and then lifts her high into the air, only to bring her crashing back down to the mat into a wheelbarrow driver. He keeps her legs tucked over her head, and the referee drops for the count.

KO: And one Justice Crushing Finale later, Joel Hawkfield earned his spot into the 7 Pillars Gauntlet Match in Rome!
LO: Yeah, this one was heartbreaking for Roxi Johnson, as Joel used all of that pent up anger over the past few shows losses, and let it explode right here on Blitz.
A scene of Joel getting to his feet, running his hands over his mask to an outpouring of boos from the crowd. He stares down at Roxi Johnson, a grim scowl coming over his mouth, and he starts towards her once more. The Referee dives in front of him to block his way, buying just enough time for Roxi to roll under the ropes to the outside to make an exit. Joel threatens the official who backs off slowly, leaving Joel to stalk around the ring, beating his chest as the crowd continues its negative outcry.
KO: Well, it's obvious that the fans were none to happy with this outcome, but for Joel Hawkfield, it was a long time overdue.

Winner by pinfall: Joel Hawkfield
Othello Score: **1/2
We take a quick bounce backstage and are greeted with the sight of crack reporter Emily Burlingame, who has retrieved Roxi Johnson for a little post-match commentary. In typical correspondent pose, Emily smiles for the camera to complement the equally warm presence of Roxi, despite her loss against Joel Hawkfield.
Emily Burlingame: Roxi, you came up just a bit short, but what a superheroic performance we just saw out there! I think that will...hey, what the he--!
Two hands suddenly reach out -- one retrieving the microphone from Emily’s grasp, and the other giving her a shove backwards. The push is enough to cause Burlingame to trip over a red velvet object that appears to have been strategically placed behind her. A gallant blond in a black strapless dress is the perpetrator. She mockingly clears her throat and picks up where Emily left off.
Elegance: Much better.
Her accent has tinges of French pomp, but it’s hard to place whether or not she’s actually from there. Roxi is not impressed, as she rushes over to the aid of Emily, shooting this unfamiliar face a scowl. The woman simply returns her look with a shrug of her shoulders.
E: Pardon moi, but I shall be giving this interview. My name is Ele-GANCE, and Mademoiselle Byrne has seen it très nécessaire to include class and sophistication in these backstage affairs to soften the image. Now, Miss Johnson, if you please. The query on everyone’s mind involved with Valour Pro is this: why do you choose to wrestle in attire that gives off the impression that all of your possessions are kept in a grocery cart?
Roxi stands to her feet immediately with fists clenched, ready to pour a bucket of ice over the debut appearance of this phony French snob. She strides quickly to her, sizing her up as she tries to maintain her cool. Unfortunately, this was exactly what Elegance wanted, as creeping up behind Roxi was the individual that had recently been advertised on VPW’s Twitter feed: the equally enraging Davy Blossom.
E: Rude. Answer the question.
Roxi was unable to muster up anything but a gasp, as Blossom delivers a wound-up punch directly to the small of her back. Which is probably like the most awful thing you can do to someone, I mean, who punches someone in their LOWER BACK? As he strides clearer on the scene, we find Davy carrying what appears to be a VHS copy of Ingmar Bergman’s classic drama Fanny and Alexander in his left hand. Roxi, who had been caught off guard by the initial blow, quickly turned to the assailant and was then greeted with a blow to her head by the movie sleeve that obviously was not holding a tape.
Davy Blossom: Oh, poo. Floored by the classics.
As it’s the first time we’ve heard him speak, Blossom does not have a distinguishable foreign accent, unless you consider Connecticut Douche foreign. Dressed elegantly for a scoundrel, his tailored navy suit is a stark contrast to his 1987 hairstyle and grapefruit-colored skinny tie. As Roxi collapsed to the stage floor, both he and Elegance engaged in a passionate smooch, complete with guppy-like motions of their lips to drive home the obnoxious display. They break, and Elegance pouts for the camera.
E: A shame, I say, that our first public appearance on this farm wasn’t the gala it should have been, my sweet.
Davy grins knowingly, as he peers behind his shoulder at the obstacle that Emily Burlingame had tripped over minutes ago.
DB: Oh, my tundra rose, my oxygen whilst floating in the endless celestial ceilings of the Milky Way, you deserve the absolute best. And I, your humble love slave, shall provide!
Davy sashays back to retrieve the object. It is revealed to be a thin red carpet, which he brings over and unfurls toward the camera. Chuckling, he drapes it lengthwise over the back of Roxi, offering his hand to Elegance.
DB: Come, my darling. This is the entrance to Valour you deserve.
The two stroll towards the camera and out of the shot, with Elegance making sure to step directly onto Roxi’s body along the way. Snooty, ear-poking laughter accompanies their walk towards their imminent future in the VPW.
KO: I've been looking forward to this one this entire cycle. What do you think, Laur?
LO: No doubt, this one has high stakes, and two guys who know each other very well. It has all the makings of a genuine feud.
KO: That's right, and to think, this will be the first time for some of our viewers. If you didn't know, these two have a storied history that has seen their rivalry get better and better.
LO: Then what are we waiting for? Let's see how this thing starts!
A clip of Zack Fantana beboping down the aisle to Franz Ferdinand, pointing out at the crowd who mildly cheer at his over reaction to the song. He hops up on the ring apron, and swings his leg through the middle rope, popping up with arms outstretched with a grin on his face. He runs his fingers through his hair as he plops back into a corner, nodding at the fans at ringside who are uncertain as to what that means.
KO: I'm not sure what to make of this Zack Fantana....he...he seems like a good guy, but...I don't know.
LO: I know what you mean, but all that really matters is the guy can put on one hell of a show. Much like his opponent here tonight.
A shot of Brennan Devlin stepping through the curtain, oozing confidence, and brushing his shoulder off towards the fans to let them know exactly what he thinks of them. He slowly ambles down to the ring, calm, cool, and collected, before climbing the steps and stepping through the ropes. He pauses to stare across at Fantana, who is still just hanging loose in the corner, and a look of disgust crosses his face as he takes the opposite corner's second turnbuckle, and holds his hands out into the air like he is the Messiah.
KO: I'll say one thing about Brennan Devlin, no on is more into him than himself.
LO: Yeah, I think that's why he and Arlo Rosabel hated each other so much. Arlo reminded Devlin of a young him!
KO: This match started out with a slower build than our previous contests, as both men sauntered out to the center of the ring and delivered a little jaw jacking.
LO: Yeah, and that is when Brennan Devlin slapped Zack Fantana right in the mouth.
A clip of Fantana staring blankly at the canvas while holding his jaw while the fans make the collective, "OoooooooooooooH". Devlin chuckles, talking more smack, when Fantana slowly rolls his shoulders, and reaches up and returns the favor with a slap of his own. Devlin's mirth is completely canceled now, a look of frustration washing over his face. He turns back into Fantana to get nose to nose, but instead is met with a right hand. It's answered with a right hand from Devlin. Before anyone can react, both men are firing piston like fists into each others skulls, and the fans pop huge. After a few seconds of hard shots to one another, Fantana starts to get the upperhand, blocking Devlin's shots, and driving Brennan into the ropes with shots of his own. Finally, with Devlin dazed, Fantana shoots him off to the far side. On Devlin's way back, he's taken down with a shoulder tackle. Fantana hits off the far side ropes, and Devlin floats over onto his stomach, forcing Fantana to hop over him and continue to the other side. Devlin's back up now, and goes for a hip toss on a returning Fantana, but instead, Zack slips over for a reversal, and goes for a hip toss of his own. Again, it's Devlin now with the reversal, and the two men do this until they have made it all the way over to the ropes, where with one more reversal, Brennan Devlin sends Zack Fantana over the top to the outside.
KO: Action was fast and furious in this one, with Devlin following Zack out to reign in a few cheap shots, but Zack fired right back with thunderous chops that knocked Devlin back into the barricade.
LO: Yeah, and that's when things took a turn for the leader of Fantanasy, as he tried to deliver a high running knee into Devlin, but 'The Spotlight Saint' managed to get out of the way resulting with Fantana's knee striking the steel.
KO: If I'm not mistaken, that's the same knee that was worked over by 4th Estate in the Main Event of the last show.
LO: That would be the one, and Brennan Devlin took complete advantage of that knowledge by working over the knee.
KO: Both men were at a 9 count by the referee by the time Devlin finally tossed Zack back into the ring. From here, the pace changed to a methodical breakdown of Zack Fantana's knee joint at the hands of Brennan Devlin.
LO: Both of these men are known for being kings of the high spot, but Devlin did a good job of reminding us that this is wrestling, and that he knows how to do it very well.
A shot of Zack Fantana being put in a corner, and Devlin taking his injured leg and draping it over the middle rope. The Ref tries to break it up, but Devlin commences to cranking Zack's knee around the steel chord, until finally breaking the hold at the 5 count. He gets another warning when he starts laying the boots into the injured knee, which at that height, made it an easy target. Zack cries out in pain, and manages to get a handful of Devlin's hair to deliver some shots of his own to knock the man away from him. Fantana pulls his knee down from the rope, and gingerly walks out of the corner by use of the ropes, only for Devlin to come flying in from behind with a chop block. Fantana, now back on the mat, reaches for the injured limb, but Devlin's already there, setting the ankle on the bottom rope, and then springboarding himself into the air only to crash down at the knee's insertion point. Zack reacts like anyone would, clutching at the injury in pain, and rolling towards the middle of the ring to try and find an escape. Brennan doesn't give him a chance for rest before managing to get hold of his ankle again, and then turns him over into a half leg Boston Crab.
KO: I'm not so sure that Zack Fantana was 100% for this match, but that is just a testament to his grit and determination that he didn't back out of the fight. I knew that it was only about eight minutes into this match, but it looked really bad for the leader of Fantanasy.
LO: Yeah, he was really in some pain here, but managed to muscle through it to drag him and his opponent to the ropes. This resulted in another 5 count from the referee before Devlin broke the hold, and he and the ref had a heated exchange. That was like the fourth time that Brennan Devlin had rode the 5 count to its limit, and the ref was about fed up with it.
KO: Meanwhile, Zack was able to use the ropes to get up to his feet, but it was obvious that knee wasn't providing much support. However, Zack Fantana is a wily competitor in his own right, and when Devlin saw that he was up, he went in for a clothesline, but instead Zack drop down and took the top rope with him.
A clip of Brennan Devlin flying full speed up and over the lowered top rope, crashing hard on the concrete floor. Zack slips out under the bottom rope, hobbling over to pull Brennan Devlin to his feet. The fans actually cheer as a look of rage washes over Fantana, and he screams something inaudible into Brennan's face before taking a fistfull of hair and driving him repeatedly face first down into the ring apron. The fans count along, but before they can get to 10, Zack pulls Brennan Devlin back a few steps, and then sends him head first into the ring post instead. Devlin's forehead crashes off the steel, and he rolls around the post to land on the other side. When he looks up, the fans come alive as blood pours down from a wicked gash across his forehead.
LO: Fantana kind of lost it there.
KO: Yeah, it was great! And from there he rolled into the ring to stop the Ref's count, and then rolled back out and sent Devlin hurtling into the steel steps. I thought the guy was toast.
LO: So did I, but he managed to get the shoulder up on the following pin attempt after everything moved back in the ring.
A scene of Zack Fantana getting to his feet, still hobbling around on one leg, staring down at the resilient Devlin with contempt. Finally he looks out at the crowd and nods, making his way over to the nearest corner, and starts to climb. It takes him a second with the bum knee, but once in place, he stands tall ready to take flight. Devlin, however, has already started rolling from the center of the ring to the ropes, slipping under to land on his hands and knee's on the floor. Zack curses as he gently makes his way down from the top. Brennan makes it to his feet, wiping the blood away from this eyes, and Zack takes this opportunity to hit off the ropes and stutter step across the ring to fly with a suicide dive. Unfortunately for Fantana, Brennan saw him coming, and aptly side stepped out of the way. Fantana soars head first into a sickening crash with the guard rail, slumping to the ground cradling his head. Devlin nods arrogantly to the crowd, obviously winded, but not out of the fight. He takes off into a gallop, and delivers a baseball slide on the concrete that finds both of his feet snapping Fantana back painfully into the steel.
KO: These guys spent a lot of time on the outside, and it appeared that both were out to maim the other!
LO: That history we spoke of earlier certainly was oozing out in all sorts of innovative violence.
Brennan pulls Zack up to his feet and drags him over towards the steel steps before hooking him around the head and snap suplexing him so that his back lands on the concrete, but the back of his knee whips off the unforgiving steel. Zack cries out in pain, cradling his injured limb, while Devlin gets to his feet. The Ref is in as much shock as everyone else, before admonishing Brennan, and starting his count over. Bennan takes Zack by a fistfull of hair, and yanks so that he has no choice but to get up, and then tosses him under the rope back into the ring. He follows quickly, and goes for a cover.

3NO!
KO: I won't lie to you folks, I honestly don't have a clue how Zack Fantana got his shoulder up. If it had been me, I'd have just let it go at this point.
LO: It might have been the smarter move, Ken. Live to fight another day, cause Zack's leg looked like it was no longer going to support him.
A clip of Brennan Devlin, incensed that Zack Fantana would have the fortitude to kick out, snatches the man up, and sends him to the far corner. Zack, however, doesn't make it, his leg giving out and him falling to the mat. Devlin smirks now, playing up to the crowd that this one is over, and casually saunters over to the down Fantana in mock fashion. He grabs the man by the leg, and rolls him over onto his back, stepping through to go for what looks like a sharpshooter. Zack, sensing that this really could be the end, comes alive to struggle against the turn. Try as he might, Devlin can't force his squirming opponent over into the hold. Suddenly, Zack reaches up and manages to pull Brennan forward, and then using his tangled up legs, pushes 'The Cornerstone' violently backwards. Unfortunately, its right in the direction of where the referee is standing, and the back of Brennan's head collides with the ref's face, who goes down like a sack of potatoes. Devlin clutches at the back of his skull, and turns around in a fury, screaming obscenities at the ref while the crowd laugh at him. This gives Fantana the moment he needed to get to his feet, and hook Brennan in a waist lock, taking him up and over into a belly to back suplex that he turns into a double knee breaker.
KO: Zack Fantana nailed Brennan Devlin with Sleep Apnea, but the impact to his injured knee kept him from being able to capitalize on it.
LO: Yeah, and there wasn't a referee to make the count even if he could. All three men were laid out in the ring, when this happened!!
The scene starts with a shot of all three men down in the ring when suddenly the lights dim in the arena, and Joe Walsh's 'Turn to Stone' sounds across the loud speakers. The music is unfamiliar to the VPW crowd, but that's when the man who introduced himself earlier in the night, Cross Recoba, steps out onto the ramp way. The reaction can be felt as every fan in the arena showers the man with boo's. He smirks coolly, pushing his shag hair cut off his eyes before making his way down to the ring with purpose. Cross hops up onto the ring apron, and steps through the ropes, and wastes no time picking up Zack Fantana off the mat. Fantana, still dazed, is scooped up into a tombstone position, and then brought crashing down to the mat with an inverted spinning piledriver. It's obvious that Zack is out cold, when Cross reaches over and snatches Brennan Devlin by the wrist, and yanks him on top of Fantana. He then gets to his feet, and starts paint brushing the referee to get him conscious, and drags him halfway over to the cover before stepping out onto the ring apron. The Ref, completely oblivious, only sees the pin in front of him, and in an effort brings his hand down to the mat for the count.

3!!!
If the fans weren't booing before, they are now, as Cross enters the ring once more. He claps at the referee's call, as Brennan Devlin starts to come around after hearing the bell sound. Cross reaches down and hooks Brennan under the arms, and hoists him up to his feet. Brennan's off balance while clutching his back, but Recoba steadies him, patting him on the back with a grin on his face. Devlin is completely bewildered, and that's when the grin fades to a scowl, and Cross scoops him much as he did Fantana, and lays him out with another Up All Night In Dakota! Cross pops back up quickly, staring down at the two prone men at his feet, before turning to the time keepers desk and calling for a mic.
Cross Recoba: Earlier tonight I told you all that I’d been watching Valor and its roster, I told you that I was coming here to dictate, not to be dictated to!
Cross’ mouth extends into a grin to the reaction he is receiving from the Braga audience.
Cross Recoba:...What you’ve just witnessed is the opening statement in the argument that I, Cross Fucking Recoba, am the greatest wrestler to grace Valor Pro Wrestling with his presence!
The fans continue to boo as the newcomer continues his blustering.
Cross Recoba: Those two tombstone piledrivers? They’re going to be my ticket into the Seven Pillars match...trust me, it’s hard to get up after you’ve been Up All Night in Dakota!
Cross drops the mic and throws Devil Horns to the crowd further inciting them as Turn to Stone resumes back on the PA. Cross exits the ring and walks backward down the aisle, clearly pleased with his handiwork.
KO: If you’re wondering what Recoba just did, here in Portugal the Devil Horns mean you’re being cuckolded!
LO: Have you seen the crowd? Hardly full of Tom Hardy lookalikes and supermodels are they?
KO: Either way you look at it, this just changed the dynamic of the roster. Cross Recoba here in VPW with a huge mission statement!
LO: No doubt, and the show wasn't even over yet folks! Let's cut to the Monarch Champion who will be participating in the Main Event...
Winner by pinfall: Brennan Devlin

In the backstage area, we find Pandora Royce pacing back and forth in her locker room. She’s speaking to herself, yet it seems that she’s carrying on quite the conversation.
“They said no more than three hours and it’s been four. What do I do? Do I duck and cover? Fuck. I should have had a better last meal than a twinkie,” she pauses, “I know they’re fattening.”
The door bursts open and in comes Tony Sharpe assisting Elina Cartel into the room. Elina is pale and clutching her side. She slumps down on a nearby bench and Tony breathes out - his shirt is drenched with sweat and he looks nearly as pale as Elina does.
“Were you successful?” Pandora asks wearily.
“Successful? Were you evaporated? Well, maybe not evaporated, but you would have definitely felt something,” Tony breathes out heavily, “Of course we were successful.”
“But Elina doesn’t…”
“Yeah, we ran into some unexpected roadblocks.” Tony groans, showing a laceration on his arm.
“That woman-she was there,” Elina says, practically to herself.
“Yeah, what the fuck was that all about?”
Pandora eyes both, “Woman?”
“Yeah, this fucking woman. She had… Well… She was basically like Spiderman, ok? Never seen anything like it before.”
“A comic book?” Pandora backs away.
“It’s a long story.” Elina whispers.
“Are you going to be able to perform?” Pandora shakes.
“Yes. Of course.”
“I wouldn’t recommend going out there. Your ribs, they’re probably broken.”
Elina stands up, checking her hair in the mirror.
Tony shakes his head, “But it’s not like you ever fucking listen to me.”
He pulls out a small box, opens it, and snorts some cocaine off of a fingernail while Pandora looks on at him. He holds out the box towards her and she turns it down.
“Suit yourself,” he breathes out, “Thought you might have wanted to celebrate the lack of nuclear annihilation. I’ll tell you what, it was less stopping it and more the drive to Sacavem I could have done without. Eight hour round trip on these roads? The price of gas? Goddamn I miss America.”
Elina sighs, “Tony, I say this with all of the respect I can currently muster - please shut up.”
He chuckles, “I love you too.”
“What have I gotten myself into?” Pandora wonders aloud.
Elina interjects, “Everything will work out as it should. Try not to worry.”

KO: Man, I think you'd all agree that Blitz#3 was one hell of a show so far, but we're not even finished. There's still 20 more minutes of show to review, which brings us to our Main Event of the evening.
LO: Definitely a lot of twists and turns in this installment, but this Main Event had twists and turns literally built into the booking.
KO: No doubt about it, Laur, 4th Estate versus Siberia Zombie & Ace Devereux equals money!
A scene of Pandora Royce and Elina Cartel coming through the curtain to the sounds of ‘Machines’ by Giorgio Moroder. Elina Cartel brings her right hand over her brow to look out over the cheering crowd, while Pandora Royce bebops down the aisle, slapping stray hands as she goes. The two reach ringside and hop up on the apron, play up to the crowd, and then enter the squared circle with synchronicity. Pandora waves, while Elina takes the second turnbuckle, unstrapping the Monarch Championship from around her waist and holding it high into the air.
KO: The fans were 100% behind 4th estate in this one, with Elina Cartel being one of our most beloved superstars.
LO: Yeah, and Pandora being one of our strangest. Ever notice how she seems to be having conversations with herself at ringside?
KO: What? You never talk to yourself?
LO: Sure in the mirror, sometimes. But never in front of an audience.
A shot of Wanli hitting over the speakers, when suddenly out bursts Siberia Zombie, a determined look on her face, fists already clenched. She knocks her head from side to side before striding to the ring, the fans giving her a big ovation as well. She nods to a few of them as she approaches ringside, and those in the front row pat her on the back as she makes her way up the steps, and onto the ring apron. She spins around to hook her arms through the ropes, and hangs there for a moment as the fans eat it up. She then turns, springboarding up and over the top rope into the ring, where she throws both arms over head.
KO: The fans love Siberia Zombie in equal measure, as the no-nonsense lass is as intense as they come.
LO: That match she had last show with Zachariah Krahe certainly proved that, Ken.
A clip of Ace Devereux stepping through the curtain to the sounds of Five Finger Death Punch's "House of the Rising Sun". He wears his trademark trunks, a black vest, and the Gladiator Championship slung casually over his shoulder. He grins as the fans pour on the boo's, and he shrugs his shoulders before starting his trek to the ring. He makes snide remarks to a few of them before reaching ringside, where he pauses and looks up into the ring at the three fan favorites looking down at him, one being his own tag partner. He shakes his head in disgust at his plight in life, and takes the steps two at a time before ending on the ring apron. He looks right at Elina Cartel before taking the championship from his shoulder, and holding it up as if in challenge. Elina smirks, and makes some remark, while Ace remains on the ring apron, signaling to Siberia that she should start the match.
KO: Man, this is like deja vu, only Siberia Zombie is now the unlucky recipient of Ace Devereux's tactics.
LO: Yeah, Elina even offered to help the ropes for Ace, but he was pretty adamant about Siberia starting this match.
KO: Eventually the ref got everyone where they were supposed to be, and called for the bell. Siberia indeed started the match with Elina Cartel, and the two women put on a clinic of technical wrestling, both women being well versed in various styles of martial arts.
LO: Alot of people think that means strikes, which obviously it does in part, but martial arts also focuses on holds and leverage as well.
KO: And these two women showcased that talent, receiving a round of applause in the process at each break.
LO: Yeah, but all good things have to come to an end, and someone had to get the upper hand eventually. That happened when Siberia appeared to get frustrated by a go behind hammer lock from Elina, resulting with three quick elbows right to the Monarch Champions face.
A clip of Elina releasing the hold in a daze, while Siberia Zombie charges towards the ropes in front of her for momentum, and springs back with a flying hip bump that takes Elina down to the mat. Zombie pops back up, and nods in determination before hitting of the ropes once more. Elina floats over to her stomach, forcing Siberia to hop over her, and continue on to the other side. By the time Zombie's coming back, Elina is back up and ready for her, catching her with a drop kick. Its Siberia's turn to strike the mat, but she comes up quickly only for Elina to come in swinging with a flurry of palm strikes that drive Siberia back into the corner. Once there, Elina grabs the top rope, and starts laying in straight shin kicks to Zombie's chest and midsection. From there she hooks her around the head, and snap mares her down to the mat, locking in a rear naked choke.
KO: Elina managed to keep Zombie grounded for a few minutes, allowing her to fight her way out only to put her back in it again.
LO: And then she tagged in Pandora Royce, who came in and maintained that control, working the same angle. It appeared that the 4th Estate could almost read each others minds as they worked over Zombie's oxygen supply.
KO: Yeah, several tags, in and out. Great tag team work that we've come to expect from the 4th estate.
A scene of Zombie once again grounded by Pandora Royce, locked into a Sleeper Hold. She rocks back and forth from her seated position until finally getting up to one knee, and finally both feet, forcing Pandora to do the same. She stumbles around, dragging Royce with her, until suddenly slipping to the side, lifting Royce up, and falling straight back into a side suplex. Both women lay there for a moment before starting to slowly crawl towards their respective corner. Ace nervously watches as Elina jumps up and down on the bottom rope, arm extended towards Pandora Royce, while Siberia inches closer and closer to him. Finally, with a jump, Siberia tags in Ace who slips into the ring at about the same time Pandora tags in Elina. For the first time in this match, the two champions find themselves in the ring with one another. Ace holds his hands up in a placating gesture, before rushing in at the woman to take her head off. Elina, however, ducks the move and when Ace turns around catches him with a pele kick that sends him stumbling back into the corner.
KO: Elina looked fired up to finally have her opponent for 7 Pillars back in the ring, as she charged in with a big splash in the corner.
LO: Yeah, and from there she pulled Ace out and took off with a running bulldog, but that's when Ace put on the brakes, and Elina landed hard right on her bum.
A clip of Elina getting to her feet after the jarring landing, and turning right into a waiting Ace Devereux, who snatches her around the midsection for an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Cartel lands on her back and skids painfully across the mat almost to the corner. She moves to get to her feet, but Ace comes running in with a high knee lift that sends her crashing back to the mat. He drops an axe handle smash right down into her skull, and then puts the point of his elbow right into her jaw before hooking the leg for a cover.

KO: Elina was out at two, but Ace didn't waste any motion. For a guy who has done everything in his power to keep from defending his championship, he saw this as an opportunity to put in his licks before these two face off at 7 Pillars.
LO: Smart strategy, if you ask me. He already carries a loss at the hands of Elina Cartel, and if he could get the win here, it would cement a level playing field for their unification match.
A shot of Devereux dropping Elina across his knee for a back breaker, while looking over at Pandora Royce with a grin. Elina clutches at her back as Devereux jaws at her tag partner, trying to entice her into the ring. Pandora starts to put a leg through, but the ref is there to cut her off, which gives Devereux all the time he needs to blatantly put a boot on Elina's throat and choke her. By the time the ref turns around, Ace has already let off, and gets a fist full of hair to drag her over to his corner, where he tags in a reluctant Siberia Zombie. The two share an awkward glance as Siberia comes into the ring, obviously not approving of Ace's tactics, but unwilling to not follow up.
KO: Siberia Zombie was in a unique position here, as she didn't appreciate what her tag partner was doing, but still had to capitalize.
LO: And capitalize she did!
A clip of Zombie throwing Elina Cartel off the ropes, and then catching her with sling blade on the way back. With the woman on the ground, she takes both of Cartel's arms, crosses them over the other, and then does a roll through that puts Elina into a Triangle Choke. A move she calls Sol Naciente. Elina finds herself locked in, but she struggles against the move, but she is in the center of the ring. Finally, instead of struggling, she begins to back peddle, dragging Zombie across the mat back to her corner. Siberia looks comically shocked as Elina comes closer and closer to Pandora Royce, and she yanks back even harder on the hold, halting the momentum for a moment. Elina drops to her knee's, the hold and her own exertion to break it causing her stamina to leave her. It appears that she might be about ready to fade away, when suddenly she pops back to her feet, and gives a massive tug that puts her close enough for Pandora to tag her on the shoulder.
KO: The ref allowed the tag, and Pandora came into the ring to give Siberia a stomp to the face that broke the hold.
LO: Ace, on the opposite side, started his way in, but Pandora rushed across the mat and launched herself into the man with a spear. Both competitors fell to the outside, and the ref was forced to start a count out on Pandora.
KO: Back in the ring Elina Cartel sat in her corner sucking in much needed air as Zombie got to her feet. This is when Zombie noticed Pandora pulling Ace up on the outside of the ring, and decided it was time for a Tope Suicida dive that took out all three competitors.
LO: That probably won't endear Ace Devereux to her, but it what followed next probably concerned him more.
A shot of Elina Cartel finally making it back to her feet, watching the three competitors on the outside trying to get back to theirs. She clutches her throat one more time and starts nodding at the crowd, and at just the right moment, charges towards the corner on the opposite side, runs up the turnbuckles, and then delivers a breathtaking shooting star press that finds her crashing on the other three. All four are down now, and the ref is holding his head like his mind is blown before finally restarting the count from one.
KO: The ref got all the way up to seven before Pandora Royce reached the ring apron, but Siberia Zombie wasn't far behind her. Both women rolled into the ring at about the same time, and came up to their feet in unison.
LO: These two are so well versed in martial arts, guys. They started throwing strikes and counters at each other that looked like flashes on the screen they were so fast, and it wasn't until Pandora went for a low leg sweep did we see anyone gain the upper hand.
A scene of Zombie recoiling as she clutches her thigh, but Pandora Royce is having none of it, firing strike after strike to the injured area. Finally, they've moved their way into a corner, where Pandora opens up with rights and lefts, finishing it all off with a reverse hook kick that sends Zombie down into a seated position against the bottom turnbuckle. Zombie appears dazed as Pandora steps all the way over to the opposite side, and then comes charging back only to throw her knee out to crash into the side of Siberia's head. The woman's eyes roll into the back of her head as Pandora drags her out of the corner, and drops down for the cover.

KO: Ace Devereux had to launch himself across the ring to make that save, but as soon as he was back on his feet, Elina Cartel came bolting in to take him out with a flying hurricanrana.
LO: Ace rolled right back out of the ring, while Elina helped Pandora to her feet. The two women took a turnbuckle on opposite side of Zombie, who looked like she was having trouble even standing.
KO: Yeah, it looked like they were just about to attempt their finisher, Meteoric, but somehow Zombie fell to her stomach, and both women crashed to the mat.
A scene of all three ladies in the ring, struggling to get to their feet. Zombie is up first, followed by Elina, whose back is to her. Zombie gets a handfull of tights and the back of Cartel's head, and runs her right up and over the top rope to the outside near her corner. That is when a partially recovered Ace Devereux hops up onto the ring apron, and tags himself in on a surprised Zombie. The ref forces Zombie out of the ring as she just stares at her impromptu partner, while Ace charges in and catches the unaware Pandora Royce with a massive bull hammer he calls the Blackjack. He snaps down for the cover, and demands that the ref not worry about Zombie, but to make the pin. He quickly slides into position, and his hand starts coming down.

KO: Pandora Royce barely got her shoulder up, but she did, and Ace Devereux looked like he was about to lose it.
LO: Yeah, so much so that he rolled to the outside, and grabbed up his Gladiator Championship like he was about to leave. The fans really gave him what for here, but I guess Ace had second thoughts, as he hopped back up into the ring, bringing the gold with him.
KO: The ref did a good job of cutting Ace off, telling him to get rid of the belt, which Ace complied....dropping the belt over in a neutral corner, and then appearing to return to the match.
LO: Appearances can be deceiving though, as Elina Cartel got back up in her corner, and when Ace noticed it, he stepped right over and slapped the woman right in the face.
A clip of the fans doing the typical 'Oooooooo' chant at the sign of disrespect from one wrestler to the other. Elina's head snaps back around, and a visage of pure rage washes over her face as she starts into the ring. Ace directs the Referee right into Elina, who argues with the official vehemently to let her past. Meanwhile, Ace steps over to the corner he dropped the belt and scoops it up, cocking it back, ready for Pandora Royce to get to her feet. Much to his surprise the belt his yanked out of his hands to an arena full of cheers, and when Ace turns around, he's staring at his own tag team partner, Siberia Zombie. Zombie shakes her head 'No' at the Gladiator Champion, and Ace berates her, demanding for her to return the title. Just then, Pandora Royce comes rushing in from behind, looking to have been going for a spear. As if he had eyes in the back of his head, Devereux quickly side steps, and Royce continues head long right into the title belt held by Siberia Zombie. Zombie falls back into the corner, stunned, the belt slipping from her fingers and to the outside of the ring. Pandroa stumbles backwards clutching her skull, where Ace drops down and rolls her up into a school boy pin. By the time the referee returns to whats going on inside the ring, he drops to make the cover.

KO: Elina Cartel tried to make the save once she realized what was happening, but it was already too late, and Ace Devereux high tailed out of the ring, scooping up his Gladiator Championship on his way.
LO: Siberia Zombie couldn't believe what just happened, and all she could do was plead with Elina and Pandora, but the 4th Estate had none of it. Just waving the woman off while Elina checked over her tag partner for serious injury.
A clip of Ace Devereux standing at the top of the ramp, having a full fledged celebration with the Gladiator Championship raised high over head, laughing at those still left in the ring. Siberia Zombie bails out of the ring, striking the mat in frustration even though this technically meant a victory for her. Elina Cartel takes her Monarch Championship from the ref, and then returns to Pandora, who clutches at her arm while staring up the ramp at the villainous Ace Devereux.
KO: Man, this thing between Ace and Elina just keeps heating up from show to show, and I don't know if Rome will be able to contain the fireworks that will go down at 7 Pillars.
LO: No doubt, my brother! Ace Devereux has managed to piss off everyone in this entire company during his reign as Gladiator Champion. Even the people who he was assigned to ally with.
KO: Maybe especially them, Laur. Siberia Zombie did not look happy as she made her way up the ramp, and this was one of her biggest wins in the company to date!
LO: The woman has honor, Ken. She has her problems, and can be very intense when it comes to competition, but at the end of the day she is an honorable competitor and wants to win because of her merit and abilities. Not because Ace Devereux is a fucking snake in the grass.
KO: EASY, BROTHER! We don't want this video demonetized for language! Besides, Ace is using time honored strategies to achieve what he wants.
LO: Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry folks. I guess Ace Devereux has even managed to piss me off too.
KO: Well let's take a look at this final clip, and we can think about how we can wrap this episode up. Go get you a chill pill or something....

Othello Score: ***
The shot opens up to Joel Hawkfield backstage, leaned up against the wall near an intersection of corridors. Evidently, he's clutching at his chest with his right hand, breathing heavily as he seemingly struggles to stay on his feet. His pupils suddenly shrink, turning he lets out a rather violent cough, crimson liquid falling to the floor and into his hand. Ignoring the danger, he goes back to clutching at his chest, clutching it even tighter than before while his breathing becomes shallow.
Joel: "Medical..."
Using the nearby wall for assistance, Joel places his free hand on it, similarly tracing it when he was seen last time raging after his loss. This time, however, his pace seems drastically slower from last time out. Nails dig into his chest as he drops to a knee, letting out a pained groan.
Joel: "Shit..."
Mustering his strength, Joel pulls himself back up to his feet looking even more out of breath. Staggering, he continues to push forward but stops in the middle of the corridor, wobbling as he looks up and down the corridor a few times, pupils seemingly dilated.
Joel: "Damn it, no...there's still more paintings to be done. Where are my supplies? My canvases?"
Turning back in order to resume his progress, he stumbles forward, impacting the ground with a solid thud with another groan of pain. Up ahead, the door to the medical room opens and two people come rushing down in a panic. The shot begins to fade out as the medics begin to tend to Hawkfield.

KO: Folks, we've just received word that Joel Hawkfield will not be cleared to wrestle at Blitz #4, which takes place on November 4th from Athens, Greece at Ano Liosia Olympic Hall.
LO: But he just qualified for the 7 Pillars Gauntlet Match at our first Super Show? Will he be cleared by then?
KO: I don't know, Laur. I'm just giving you what information I uncovered.
LO: Good God, this whole show was insane. Cross Recoba made his debut and literally narrated the ending of Brennan Devlin versus Zack Fantana. Zachariah Krahe and Brodie nearly tore each other apart. Davy Blossom made his debut by beating the holy hell out of Roxi Johnson. Ace Devereaux continues to piss off the entire locker room. And last but not least, Joel Hawkfield appears to have just had a freakin' heart attack!
KO: Some consequences were achieved here, but there are still many to dole out at the end of the night. But we've got three of our seven competitors for the 7 Pillars Gauntlet with concrete spots, whether some of them like it or not.
LO: That's right. Zack Fantana will be the first man out of the gate, with arguably the toughest hill to climb, while Brennan Devlin and Siberia Zombie enjoy their advantageous spots at the end at number six and seven.
KO: Joel will find out along with everyone else when the card is officially posted which number was randomly drawn for his spot, and next show we have three more spots to decide, with Cross Recoba demanding that he be apart of that decision.
LO: Folks, that's our time for this edition of Flipping The Script. We hope you've enjoyed it, and that you'll tune in next time. I am Laurence Othello....
KO: And I am Kenneth Othello......
Othello Brothers: And this the Othello Brothers, signing off!
