Vannah's Rating for the overall Show (0-5): ♥♥♥♥♥ Favorite Match: Vannah vs. Cross (I am biased here but I loved the match and even though Cross was not able to show, I was personally invested in the story that was told.)
Favorite Segment: ''Where there's stokes there's fire'' Feat. VB, Cooper and Devlin.
-I love the Stokes/VB/Cosmo and Devlin segment. It was a lot of fun, Brad Stokes is hilarious and annoying and the banter exchanged between Cosmo/VB and Devlin was great! Byrne kicking Stokes in the face was gold and the way she was written to iron on her skirt right afterwards was bad ass. She's a strong authority figure being written amazingly well. Kudos to any and all involved in this.
Most Shocking Outcome: Cross Recoba beating the hell out of everybody. I mean, I know I SHOULD'VE expected and yet I was caught off guard. I haven't gotten around to reading most of the RPS like I usually do this cycle, so I wasn't shocked by the title changing hands again per say; but nonetheless this feud has been a lot of fun to read.
Most Memorable Moment: Hmm. There's a few candidates this week. I'll lead with Vannessa kicking Stokes in the face. Second, Elegance magically recovering from her horrific neck injury while riding around in a wheel chair. It's fucking brilliant. Finally, Cross Recoba beating the shit out of Krahe and Zach is pretty damn memorable as well.
MVP of the Show: Krahe - I mean, anytime someone wins or defends a major championship it deserves a nod.
Overall Thoughts: The was amazing. A lot of work goes into the match writing so I make sure I read through it even if it takes an hour. Each match does a great job telling a story whereas in other places, I can't help but skim past the results as I am not really a wrestling fan anymore. The segments were great and the postcards made for me and Jennings was a nice little touch that I didn't expect. The pacing of the show was good, only the Cosmo/Devlin segment after the Stokes in ring segment felt out of place. I know how it goes sometimes when we write and submit segments but I feel with a few modifications it would have better slotted a bit earlier in the show and then maybe worked into the in ring altercation later. (EDIT - on second thought, it would've just worked better later on with more space in between;) But honestly, it's a small thing that didn't take the quality away from the show itself, just a bit from the pacing IMO.
The commentary work on these shows are amazing. As I grow more familiar with the characters here the more invested I am and the better it all becomes. There were many quotable'S but these two stood out to me in particular. Again, best results I've read in efedding. Every show has been enjoyable for me, nothing has been phoned in. So, shout outs to all involved in putting it all together.
Looking forward to a New Year with you guys!

Othello Rating for the overall Show (0-5): ☆☆☆☆☆
Favorite Match: I know this could be biased, but I would have to say that the Krähe vs Zack Fantana was my favorite match. The match writing for this was brilliant, not only because it felt like I was watching it, but because you could truly feel the intensity and heat between the two. You can have a perfectly well written book, but not feel anything when reading it when it has no soul. To me this match had soul.
My second favorite match (It was actually hard to choose between it and the Z vs Z match) Was the Brodie & Zombie vs Neo Tokyo. For the same reason that I loved the Z vs Z match. You could really feel the characters, and it was amazing. I would also like to say that the promo and cd work that went into this match was my favorite work for a match this cycle. The second favorite to that going to Davey, though if I am honest it's more of a draw (But I am not a fan of draws.)
Favorite Segment: Brennan Devlin's segment was by far my favorite. That was one of my favorite parts of this show. I don't know what that says about me, but I don't really care. Devlin became a rock god to me in that moment.
Most Shocking Outcome: I wouldn't say it was shocking, but the tag match was a surprise for me, simply because I really wasn't sure who would win. The only thing that came close to being shocking was the attack on Roxi, and honestly I didn't care for it. I was more surprised that it was there than anything.
*I am only counting outcomes and events pertaining to matches.
Most Memorable Moment: Ooooh so many memorable moments. This truly was a fantastic show, and a true testament to all those who put work into it, especially the staff. Not every fed puts in as much effort to put people over the way they do, and I feel that deserves some serious recognition.
Anyways back to memorable moments:
LO: Those dirty bastards! KO: Well, they are his testicles, Laur, but I wouldn't go that far.
All the antics and commentary truly made it one of the memorable moments of the show for me. Brad braces his head, embarking on a mental journey into a horrible flashback. It's like he's reciting a dread vision he's had.
BS: ... then it's the color orange, now red, no orange...and pain, uh… a lot of blue light… Oh my god Flat line. Flat line. Flat line. My mother’s embrace… a cool spring day…. A sailboat… viking chanting.. an old man with a beard…
Brad Strokes antics during the “Where there's Stokes there's fire” segment were hilarious, but I think the overall memorable moment for me (I am not counting anything from my match) was…
Brennan Devlin: Brad, buddy, you look horrible by the way, you should be lying down…
Brad nods mouthing a 'thank you', and braces his head.
BD: And you, Cosmo, you should be back in 4CW jerking curtains for Genie and telling them all how ‘gweat’ they are, mwah, mwah, mwah…
A mocking tone overtakes him as he then turns to Vanessa Byrne, shaking his head.
Brennan Devlin: And you… look at me when I’m talking to you, you dumb cunt.
Gone was the mocking tone and in its place a more stern.
Brennan Devlin: You’re about to hand this the Apex Championship? This? Some idiot who makes it clear there’s places he’d rather be… Is there anything going on in that head of yours? Anything at all? Something? Hello? Earth to Vanessa? Are you in there? It’s just like a hollowed out cave in there, isn’t it?
MVP of the Show: Honestly everyone was amazing I read this show twice over, but if I have to pick anyone it's Vannah White for how much work she put into this cycle as a handler. Vannah involved others into her storyline and carried that storyline for this cycle when she didn't have to. This could have been an easy win for her due to Cross having rl interference, but despite the holidays she put in the work. Not just in promo, but in segment work as well.
Dakota Jennings also put in her share of work, and honestly I am enjoying watching the new developments with this character.
Brodie...you already know I love your work, but damn the twists and turns you spun are really pulling me in deeper.
Last but not least, Brennan Devlin. Simply because I haven't truly cared about the Apex Championship until I read that segment.
Overall Thoughts: This show was without a doubt the perfect showcase for the diverse characters, stories, and sheer talent that this fed houses. Honestly I only see it getting better overtime, as storylines unfold, and new storylines are created. The only blot in the whole show for me was the Roxi Johnson attack. I honestly feel like the show would have been better without it.
Happy New Year everyone!

Othello Rating for the overall Show (0-5): WHY IS THIS A QUESTION ITS ALWAYS 5. Seriously, no other results across the e-fed board are close.
Favorite Match: Vannah/Recoba just had an interesting build and a gratifying outcome to it. White going in and getting some retribution for her pal really sold this one for me. Plus, the irony of Cross losing the match via a reversal of Up All Night In Dakota (in honestly the MOST OBVIOUS WAY TO COUNTER A TOMBSTONE THAT I’M GLAD WAS FINALLY UTILIZED) tied it altogether.
Favorite Segment: It wasn’t Fantana this time! The Stokes Circus this card was going to be hard to beat. It threw more gasoline on what is honestly such a great marriage of a feud. It’s also highlighted a little more of Vanessa Byrne’s nature, which is engaging. Anytime the boss shows bias for a talent, it’s always going to be a great driver fed-wide for the talent to opine on.
Most Shocking Outcome: Davy Blossom actually won a match. By the way, I’ve been deeply in love with how Press has written this character in match spots and with one-offs: he might as well be a co-handler because I have given zero direction by way of strats. It’s given me SO MUCH to play off of and I’m incredibly thankful for that.
Most Memorable Moment: I want to prop up the opening seg here. It was a thematic piece, but I think what makes it more memorable is the fact that it’s a slow build to Vannah and Dakota becoming the prominent “good” in VPW. I hope these two continue to work together. It’s nice to see segs dot a show that aren’t just match-related.
MVP of the Show: Give this one to Zach Krahe. I definitely did not see a title change coming, but a really good battle on the boards with Other Zack made this happen.
Overall Thoughts: Just as a personal anecdote, I’d gone to Hannah a few weeks ago and toyed with the idea of ditching Blossom for something a little more personal in the form of a character. She helped convince me to stick it out with this one. I’m glad I am doing that. I really want to help make this place the fucking peak of stellar writing and competition, because VPW has the talent and staff to make it happen. So, if anyone feels like they’re at a dead end with a character, talk to Hannah and Press. Push through. We need you here.
