Katya watched Zari Aliyah go at it at the Heavy Bag.
In a week's time, they'd be partnering up for 4CW's Bad Company tournament, with the genuine belief they could go deep into the competition.
And that wasn't all for Katya. Then there was also the Rookie X Cup. Dynamic Duos. She'd even signed a contract for REBELLION.
All in the name of establishing Valor’s supremacy. After all, if one of their rookies was macheting through the fields of competition, what did that say about the rest of the company?
She was the busiest Valor competitor after Cosmo Cooper. But always, always, her mind went back to the Unyielding Championship. Whatever the distraction she put before herself, she couldn't help it.
There was no room for failure. There is a priceless and vital objective to be won, and the match will be unprecedented in not only its importance, but also with respect to how harsh and brutal the fighting will be. but even that pales into nothing beside the greater intent. it is nothing more than one of the many difficult trials that stand in the way of her path to eclipsing the Apex.
But right now... it seemed her path would have to go through a needle hole to go any further.
Revenge or repeat?
Which would it be.
