From Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Canada
Another show is ready to begin. The fans are chanting the names of their favorites loud and clear in hopes that the hard-earned cash they spent to gain admission will be a fair trade for their hero claiming victory. The names Kowloon, McGuire, and yes, even Drell are offered in their prayers to the gods of sports entertainment. Meanwhile, one wrestler’s name enjoys a level of popularity amongst Toronto's fans that exceeds even her most ambitious expectations. The lights dim and purple bulbs flash as "Warriors" by Papa Roach hits over the PA System. The lights converge on the center of the stage and standing there is Katya Djurdjevic with one hand pointing to the sky. An otherworldly bellowing roar rings from one side of the arena to the other. Katya lingers on the stage taking in the crowd’s explosive reaction and smiles almost bashfully. She marches down the ramp slapping hands, and pausing for photo-ops. Katya finally reaches ringside and leaps onto the apron, vaulting herself over the top rope. She quickly steps up to the second turnbuckle of the closest turnbuckle, and again points heavenward while nodding along with her music. Hopping down, the Russian calls for a microphone and is quickly appeased. Standing at the centre, her smile widens as the Toronto crowd are still going absolutely nuts.
KATYA DJURDJEVIC: Helloooooooo, my friendly friends!
Sitting comfortably in the hearts of the Toronto faithful, another great cheer goes up for the former Empire Pro lead interviewer. She is certain many former Empire fans are in attendance tonight.
KATYA DJURDJEVIC: It is delightful to be in front of you again. It has been too long, and whilst it’s not in The Red Room, I trust my being here with you tonight will live long in both your memory and my own.
Pause.
KATYA DJURDJEVIC: Empire Pro dissolved just a little over a year ago and the time that has gone by has been a blur. And now we come to today… where I could not pass up this chance to humble Kaven Drell.
With Katya being in her second home, Drell’s name is accompanied with a thunder of boos. She smirks at this as she slowly circles the ring.
KATYA DJURDJEVIC: Five months ago, Valor Pro took a gamble on me. And whilst I’ve had the likes of Vanessa Byrne be unaware of my existence two months into my time here, and a few others look down their noses at me... I treasure the time I’ve spent in this company. I treasure what this company -- Valor Pro Wrestling -- means. There is nowhere in the world right now that has a roster that is as hungry as our own. Nowhere else offers a higher challenge. Which is why I want to be a pillar of this company for many years to come.
She looks out to the audience. And in small pockets, she sees flickers of lights carried by Drell supporters.
KATYA DJURJEVIC: So it makes sense for me to put down a man who wants to tear this company down. Kaven…Cosmo beat you in REBELLION, and you might be thanking your lucky stars that he’s gone off into the sunset… but it doesn’t end there for you. Cosmo’s not the only one capable of putting you in your place. And whilst you might not care that the woman you think so little of is the cause of the two Ls to your name, I know others who think otherwise.
The crowd cheers, and whilst Katya smiles, there’s a sense the fans were not who she was speaking of.
KATYA DJURDJEVIC: Humanity’s dreams never die. I might have to go with the flow of the river for now, but outside of title matches, I haven’t lost a match in Valor… and with you all behind me… that trend will continue. Katya Djurdjevic will take Valor’s top!

The scene shifts to inside the Flipping The Script production truck where Laurence and Kenneth Othello sit in fancy office chairs with their fingers hovering over a large red button. As if noticing the cameras were there for the first time, the two men gives signs of greeting by saluting at the lens.
LAURENCE OTHELLO: Welcome everyone to another episode of Flipping The Script! I am Laurence Othello...
KENNETH OTHELLO: And I am Kenneth Othello, and together we are...
TOGETHER: THE OTHELLO BROTHERS!
LO: We have another action packed show for you here tonight on YouTube, but before we get into that we'd be remiss if we didn't at least recap a little of Honor Bound!
KO: It was freakin' EPIC!
LO: No doubt, it left many of us speechless throughout the night, with top tier action all around.
KO: First we saw Berlin Anderson's last match with Valor Pro after getting dropped by Frenzy, and in the very next match we saw Maurice Yensman and Tommy Crimson go head to head, with Crimson coming out on top with a pretty nasty finisher!
LO: Which leads us to tonight, where these two newcomers will go head to head in one on one competition to determine whose debut meant more.
KO: Well...I mean....Frenzy did send Berlin packing.
LO: Yeah, but Crimson managed to shut Yensman up for a second.
KO: No small feat, indeed. Now I'm torn.
LO: I'm sure that's how Roman Novack feel after getting his shoulder ripped out of its socket by Brodie.
KO: Yeah, ole crazy one eye got disqualified thanks to her inability to holder her shit together anytime a brown haired bearded guy with an addiction to cigarettes is around.
LO: I think it goes a little deeper than that, and you know it.
KO: Maybe, but we'll find out tomorrow on Where There's Stokes, There's Fire when Roman Novack talks about the attack for the first time with Brad Stokes.
LO: Should be interesting. As interesting, as lets say, a certain announce team member who can't seem to retain his dinner whenever an Unleashed Championship Match takes place?
KO: HEY! That was gross, and you know it!
LO: Yes, but it also led to some serious injuries to Spiral that have put him on the shelf indefinitely, leaving Aokigahara Zombie the undisputed Unleashed Champion.
KO: Speaking of undisputed, how about that Danny Rizzo!
LO: Oh will you give me a break...
KO: You want to call me out for losing my lunch, well how about you losing your stuff when Rizzo defeated Katya Djurdjevic to kill her dreams of becoming UnYielding Champion!
LO: That reaction came about because Danny Rizzo, once again, cheated. We'll see how well he fares against Moxie James on Blitz...
KO: Yeah, yeah....Moxie pulled off one hell of a magic trick by pinning David Scott in that Fatal Four Way that included Indi Rhyder and Bryan Williams, but it isn't like we haven't seen that before.
LO: And much like Katya Djurdjevic, she's going to need to keep her head on a swivel now that she's going up against Rizzo for the UnYielding strap.
KO: Whatever, Laur. You're just soft on the Russian, admit it!
LO: I don't have to dignify that with a response.
KO: Truth hurts, eh, sort of like tonight when Kaven Drell stomps out Katya one more time in the name of 'Let It Burn'!
LO: That remains to be seen, but I can tell you what's not! Zack Fanatana is back!
KO: Haha, yeah, and he got the heroes welcome too! First he brings that nimrod Benny Stevens into the company to challenge for the Chimera Tag belts, but then NSFW snatch that triumphant return right out of him by pinning Stevens to the mat, 1...2...3!
LO: He's not lying folks, and then things got worse. The Zombie Clan jumped both Champion and Challenger to employee dominance over the Chimera Division, and to be honest, they looked pretty convincing.
KO: That's why tonight we've got a match to show you that is sure to please, as all three teams send a member to the ring to go toe to toe in a Triple Threat Match!
LO: Different styles in this one, with Kowloon being the strong man, Stevens being the Daredevil, and McGuire being the brawler. Should be one hell of a bout.
KO: And that leaves us with one more match from Honor Bound...
LO: The Main Event...
KO: Hot Damn, what a contest.
LO: It was more than anyone could hope for folks, as Chris Callum and Cosmo Cooper put on a classic at the O2 Arena in London. And then it was all brought crashing down by the return of The Face of Wrestling, Brennan Devlin.
KO: Are you kidding me, Laur! That is when business picked up! Devlin dropped Cooper with a Face Off, and second later Callum hit his own finisher to become the Apex Champion!
LO: It's a damn shame that Brennan Devlin couldn't just let these two finish this on their own terms. Who knows if we'll get another chance to see a contest like that again in our lifetime.
KO: Oh, quit your bitching. Cooper's on hiatus, Callum is the new Apex, and Devlin is back to be a thorn in his side even bigger than he was in Cosmos! This is MONEY, Laur!
LO: You do have a unique perspective, Brother-O-Mine, but for right now, how about we just get on with the show...
KO: Fine by me! Let's do it!

The Flipping The Script cameras shift from the Othello Brothers to the backstage area. A black cadillac pulls up slowly in the parking lot along side the production trucks. The cameras zoom in at the car’s driver side door. The windows are blacked out completely. The door of the cadillac swings open to reveal Tommy Crimson. The Fury steps out of the car slowly while the cameras pan close. Crimson slams the door of his rental before heading away from it. Suddenly Tommy stops dead. He looks ahead at something out of shot. Emily Burlingame approaches Crimson from the right. She holds a microphone, hoping for an interview while Tommy continues to stare at someone or something still out of the lens range.
EMILY BURLINGAME: Mr. Crimson, tonight you will…
Crimson turns his head slowly to Emily while simultaneously raising his right index finger to his lips. The Fury then looks straight ahead back at what had his full attention before. A figure steps forward at Crimson. Frenzy is revealed leading Emily to duck for cover, fully expecting violence to ensue from this encounter. The Fury and Frenzy come face to face for the first time.
FRENZY: I think that she was going to say tonight you step in the ring with me…
The masked Valor Pro newcomer seems unimpressed with Emily, and is entirely focused on Crimson. The umbrella that Crimson had taken shots at since the announcement of the match spins slowly over Frenzy's shoulder. The interviewer attempts to gain control of the situation as the camera moves to center her in the frame between the two men.
EMILY BURLINGAME: Exactly. The two of you will meet in the Valor P---.
Both men raise a hand and gesture to brush the interviewer away, cutting her off in the middle of her sentence.
FRENZY: I don't want to speak for Crimson, but I don't think either of us need your help for this.
Emily appears taken aback by the comment, but Crimson has already moved on from the situation. He wastes no time before trying to pull at Frenzy's strings.
TOMMY CRIMSON: I know who you are.
Frenzy doesn't seem phased, much to the surprise of the woman between them.
FRENZY: Just a perfectly normal guy with two-thirds of a left ear.
A wide grin crosses the face of The Fury at this revelation. Crimson and Frenzy continue to stare each other down.
TOMMY CRIMSON: I know those eyes. The thread and leather of that mask can’t hide what I know to be true. It is you.
The Fury steps even closer to his masked foe. Frenzy doesn’t move nor back down in the slightest. Frenzy gives his opponent only a light shrug of his shoulders, and responds calmly.
FRENZY: You might be confused. It's not like I have anything to hide. What you see... is what you get. This is who I am.
The enigmatic man holds his arms out, tilting the umbrella so that the light from above them catches his eyes.
FRENZY: ...and there's nowhere else I'd rather be.
Crimson wrinkles his forehead with slight concern. This man is no longer the person Tommy remembers but now something else entirely.
THE FURY: Is that so? I see many layers of a man that has been torn to bits by his past. It’s almost like looking in a fucking mirror, Frenzy. It’s beautiful to see the broken amongst the living.
Frenzy shakes his head, but a smile forms on his lips.
FRENZY: I don't have any history. I only exist in the present, and the things that are going to happen inside the Valor ring tonight are going to be fun beyond my hopes for this place.
Frenzy takes a step back, finally peeling his eyes from Crimson long enough to offer a cheap smile to the interviewer that had failed to hold onto any kind of control over the two.
FRENZY: See, I told you we didn't need you…
The masked man backs out of the frame, leaving Crimson alone to deal with the crew.
Tommy watches Frenzy slink away with Emily still standing alongside him. Crimson suddenly takes off through the crew with shoves in a bit of a rage. Anger consumes Tommy as he forces his way inside the building.

LO: As you can see, our night started out with some clipped words between two of our participants here tonight.
KO: Should be a great contest, but you'll find out a little later...
LO: Our opening bout of the evening was interesting, to say the least...
KO: This guy...I just don't know.
LO: He's definitely different, but Maurcie Yensman's #1 Fan was already in the ring by the time he made his way down. Lets check it out...
With a push of the button the screen flips to a shot inside of the Scotiabank Arena where a Super Fan stands in the center of the ring watching the real Muarice Yensman come down the ramp, stopping to jaw with fans as he goes. When Maurice reaches the ringside area, he looks up into the ring for the first time to review his doppelganger, and immediately begins shaking his head as he climbs the steps up into the ring. He looks between the referee and his look alike for a few moments before rolling his finger to indicate getting this show on the road. The referee calls for the bell, and Maurice steps right up to get into his Super Fan's face. Maurice mouths some nasty words before shoving the fan so hard that he topples over, and Yensman turns to the crowd and starts laughing, telling them that this is every single one of them. The fans finds his footing and steps right back up to get into Maurice's face again, and again the mouthy New Yorker sends his look alike tumbling to the canvas.
LO: Maurice really strutted around the ring after this one, calling out fans and talking trash. He even took it upon himself to exit the ring at one point and get in a woman's face and have a shouting contest before fianlly getting back into the ring.
KO: Yeah, I think this guy might be an asshole.
LO: You think?
KO: I guess that's why what happened next was so satisfying...
The scene returns to the ring and Maurice finishes up telling a fan in the front row that he wipes his ass with something that resembles that guy's face, when he turns around to step up and shove his Super Fan once more. This time, however, the fan side steps Maurice and delivers an open hand slap across the man's face with enough force that it actually sends him stumbling over to fall against the ropes. Maurice rubs the side of his face as the fans absolutely explode with laughter, and he sweeps around the ring irately telling them all to shut their fat moose holes. The fan appears to be quite pleased with himself, clasping his hands together and rocking them over his left and right shoulder like an Olympic celebration. Maurice finally gets control of himself, and his head snaps over to the fan who is oblivious playing up to the crowd and not paying attention.
LO: As hilarious as that was, unfortunately that would be the fan's only offense as Maurice was about to go postal.
KO: Well, Laur, if we're being honest, that fan had no business being in the ring with a professional athlete. Especially won who gets his bread and butter from inflicting violence.
LO: No argument's here, Ken, but the fan did ask for this. It goes to show that you should really be careful what you wish for...
The fan finishes his celebrating long enough to turn back towards Maurice, but when he does he's caught completely by surprise by a running Lous Thesz Press from the angry New Yorker, followed by piston like right hands down into his skull. Yensman screams in the fan's shocked face as he's yanked up by the hair of the head, and ran face first into the nearest turnbuckle. Maurice spins the fan around and pummels him to a torrid of boo's from the crowd, but he doesn't seem to care as he pulls the man away from the corner and rares back with a measured right hand. The fist connects right on the man's nose and the spot seems to explode as blood pours now all down into his mouth and chin as he snaps down to the canvas with a thud. The fans begins to cry as he tries to get to his feet so he can escape through the ropes, but Yensman spins him around and pushes him into them instead, shooting him to the opposite side. As the fan returns, terrified, Yensman launches himself into a spear that knocks the poor guy right out of his sneakers. The fans really pour on the heat as Maurice gets to his feet and stares down at the broken fan, shrugs his shoulders and places his boot on his chest for the 1, 2, 3!
LO: And that was pretty much that.
KO: hehehehe, it was kind of funny when the dude came out of his shoes...
LO: Well..(ahem hehehe ahem)..I guess.
KO: I guess the lesson here is, 'Kids, don't try this at home'!
LO: And fans, stay tuned as we'll have more Valor Pro action coming up on Flipping The Script!

Winner via Pinfall: MAURICE YENSMAN
Church watched as Mike had just finished wrapping up their fists with athletic tape. A black permanent marker was wedged in between their teeth as they tore off the last strip from the roll. He wasn’t going anywhere as the rules of the following contest mandated that he stay in the back, so he was dressed to observe, casual for once in the workplace with t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. It had been part of the routine for over a year now to watch Mike painstakingly sign off on their right hand in a concerted effort to make it legible and the same every time. He knelt down beside them, holding a hand out. Reading their partner loud and clear, Mike dropped the marker into their free hand, handing it over.
MCGUIRE: Heh. Thanks, bud.
They sighed, rolling their shoulders a bit but holding still to the best of their ability otherwise.
MCGUIRE: I tried to get you ringside tickets, y’know- can’t fault you for being present if you’re in a seat that’s bought and paid for- but all the close shit was sold out.
John wrote in an approximation of the big block letters Mike usually did … KF6.
CHURCH: Better than the last idea you had. The one where I’d wear a disguise and pretend to be your new manager.
He capped the marker and tossed it into the equipment bag behind them both.
MCGUIRE: Oh come on, you’d look fuckin’ cute in drag.
Chuckling, they wiggled their fingers and got to their feet, taking a few steps to the door before pausing and glancing behind them.
MCGUIRE: Gnrrrgh. This is fuckin’ wierd. Okay. See you in a bit.
Church sat back in a chair as Mike closed the door behind them. His eyes were glued onto the tiny screen of his phone as it streamed the event.

The Zombie Clan sits in a room watching the show on a television screen propped up on the wall. All of them are crowded around a couch with Aokigahara in the middle with Siberia and Kowloon on his left and right. Fukushima sits on the floor like a child. Everyone is in their street clothes except for Kowloon who is in his trunks and wrestling boots. They are all eating sunflower seeds. They casually spit them out in a large pile accumulating on a table in front of them. A member of production passes by the room and stops in their tracks. They look back in and look around in utter bewilderment. All of them except for Aokigahara turn their heads towards this woman in complete sync. It is slow and a little unsettling. They all spit out their seeds in front of them except for Kowloon who does not have full control of the inside of his healing mouth yet. His unedible part of the seed doesn’t quite make it to the air and sputters to a stop on his chin. He breaks the unusual effect and looks for the seed on his chest but it isn’t there. He looks at his muscular leg and it isn’t there either. He wipes at his chin and finds it then flicks it off onto the pile and then looks at the production woman along with the others. Well everyone except Aokigahara. The woman stares back at each of them in turn until she gets to Fukushima in her black lolita dress and corpse makeup and immediately looks away when the little ghost tilts her head. The Zombies keep watching the screen but it is now static and Tokyo Zombie stands in the corner of the room in full monk regalia and the television screen is static. Nobody reacts to this then the entire shot goes static as well.
LO: Our next match ended up being exactly what we expected, and then some.
KO: No doubt! I can't wait for you guys to see what two smash mouth like wrestlers can do when turned loose on one another.
LO: Well, the match didn't exactly start out like that, Ken. There was a bit of cat and mouse on Frenzy's part directed at Crimson.
KO: Yeah, Frenzy seemed hell bent on toying with Tommy, staying just one step ahead of him with some hit and run like tactics.
LO: Why don't you guys check it out and be the judge...
When the screen flips to the action both competitors are already in the ring and the match is underway. Frenzy hits off the ropes, obviously having been sent there by Crimson, who stands in the center of the ring ready to catch him with something nasty on his way back. Frenzy, however, baseball slides right through the man's open legs, pops up behind him, and when Tommy spins to face him is peppered with three left jabs that send him sputtering back in surprise. Frenzy quickly disengages to put even further distance between them, and despite his mask showing no emotion, the fans can only imagine the twinkle in his eyes. Tommy wipes spittle from his mouth and looks up enraged, charging right for Frenzy who deftly dodges out of the way and trips him up with a Drop Toe Hold that sends him throat first down across the middle rope. Frenzy, instead of taking full advantage, steps in and tussles The Fury's red hair just before giving him a sharp slap to the back of the head. When Tommy Crimson gets up off the ropes and is able to take in a full breath, the look on his face epitomizes every bit of his moniker. The two men move in to lock up, but any further shenanigans that Frenzy was planning on implementing is quickly put to rest as Crimson drives his knee right into the man's lower stomach. The Ref separates them to check to see if it's a low blow, but Crimson doesn't give him much time before grabbing Frenzy by the throat and then drives a wicked right hand into his face that thunders him to the mat.
LO: Well, all that cat and mouse finally caught up with Frenzy at that point, and Tommy Crimson went a little mental...
KO: Yeah, he drug that guy from pillar to post with all sorts of strikes that got more technical as they went along.
LO: I think that was him working through it. It went from an emotional response to getting back down to business.
KO: Yeah, and then this happened...
The screen flips back as Tommy Scoop Slams Frenzy down to the mat and immediately steps through the ropes to climb the closest corner to perch himself on top of the turnbuckles. The crowd is uncertain for which man to boo, but they come to their feet all the same as Tommy leaps high into the air and commits to a Frog Splash just as Frenzy rolls deftly out of the way. Tommy slams gut first off the canvas and the impact causes him to pop up off the mat clutching his gut as he fall draped across the top rope. Frenzy makes it to his feet, and the fun and games from earlier appear to be over now that he's sustained a pummeling from the Fury for the last several moments. Just as Tommy turns back towards the ring he's caught with a Running Lariat that sends him sailing over the top rope to crash onto the concrete floor. Frenzy steps through the ropes out onto the apron and backs all the way up to the post as Tommy grabs the apron to assist with getting back to his feet. When he manages to get there he looks up just in time to see Frenzy thunder across the apron and leap off into a Superman Punch that connects with enough force that it sends Crimson spinning back to the floor. Frenzy doesn't stop there, jerking the man up and then whipping him hard into the steel steps before eventually getting him back into the ring.
LO: After their time on the floor Frenzy went for the first pin attempt of the match but came up short at two and a half, but proceeded to stomp a hole in the man before delivering a Standing Moonsault that almost saw a three.
KO: Almost only counts in horseshoes, Laur, cause when Frenzy went to try and apply a Single Leg Boston Crab, Tommy Crimson somehow squirmed himself in position to get his free boot on the man's lower back and gave him a shove that shot him right through the nearby middle and top turnbuckles resulting in his shoulder slamming off the steel ring post.
LO: The Ref almost called the match right then as it looked like Frenzy might not be able to continue, but to his credit he got back into the match...
KO: Yeah, only for this to happen...
Frenzy waves off the referee while rolling his shoulder, wincing at the pain, only for Tommy to zero in on the injured limb like a rocket. After getting hold of the wrist and winding it up with several Dragon Twists, The Fury eventually pulls him into a Single Arm DDT that sends Frenzy away grabbing at his shoulder and bouncing his head off the canvas due to the pain. Tommy sneers now as he rises, laying boots into the shoulder before dropping down to yank the arm back into a painful Fujiwara Arm Bar. Frenzy actually elicits a cry of pain as his arm is torqued up and away from his shoulder, and he claws at the mat and pushes his with his knees to get himself closer to the corner. Each movement, of course, puts more pressure on the arm, and by the time he finally grabs hold of the bottom rope much of the damage has been done. Tommy doesn't give him any room for rest either as he yanks the man up, scoops him up onto his shoulder, and drops him straight down across his knee for a Shoulder Breaker. He follows up with a pin, but Frenzy manages to get out at the last possible second.
LO: Frenzy looked like he was all but done for here as Tommy continued to work various holds and strikes to that wounded shoulder.
KO: Yeah, but each time he still somehow managed to get out of it, and then thanks to an ill timed Splash in the corner by Crimson, he managed to regain some control.
LO: Nailed him with a Dropkick which crushed him in the corner, and when he stumbled back out a sick looking Poisoned Frankensteiner!
KO: Then it was Fury's turn to kick out just in the nick of time, and Frenzy did what some are calling pure brutality...check it out.
Tommy Crimson lays flat on his back as Frenzy rises off of him after the failed pin, grabbing both of his arms by the wrist as he goes. From there, he proceeds to stomp the living crap out of the man while holding him aloft off the canvas by his arms. Boots find chest and face as Tommy is left to the vicious display of violence, until finally a well placed kick right under his chin sends him limply back down to the canvas. Frenzy nods to the booing crowd before heading out onto the apron where he begins his climb to the top turnbuckle of the nearest corner. Tommy struggles to get to his feet as Frenzy perches himself, calling for the man to get up and take what's coming to him. The Fury is punch drunk when he slowly stumbles and turns in that direction. Frenzy quickly launches himself from the top, pulling his knee's up to his chest to catch Tommy with a Meteora to ride him all the way down to crushing victory. Or at least he would have, if Tommy didn't defy the impossible by leaping up and to the side, and catching Frenzy in the back of the head with a glancing Inzuguri! Frenzy's momentum slams him off the mat, bringing him bouncing up to his feet, and Crimson, still a little woozy, boots him in the gut when he stumbles his way and hit's a Sit Out Face Buster that drives Frenzy's face into the hard canvas. The Fury pushes his man over onto his back, and manages to hook the leg for the 1, 2, 3 that follows.
LO: Big surprise finish there, just when it looked like Frenzy was about to put Tommy Crimson away for good, The Fury pulled the rabbit out of the hat for the win!
KO: No doubt! That was a pretty great match with plenty of back and forth, and a but load of destruction. I do believe that shoulder to the post was the turning point, though.
LO: No doubt about it. Having bone on steel tends to replace most plans when it comes to this sport, despite how often it happens.
KO: I could be wrong, but these two could very well be in line for a rematch in the near future.
LO: We'll have to see about that, but folks don't go anywhere. There's more Valor Pro Wrestling action after a few words from our sponsors...

LO: Our next match is one that saw lots of action across three very different superstars and styles.
KO: They've been heating up the Tag division, but tonight they are on their own. Kowloon's the powerhouse, Steven's the high flyer, and McGuire the striker.
LO: Did you notice that Benny had some back up that wasn't Zack Fantana this time. His manager Ashley Quid accompanied him to the ring.
KO: Yeah, but she mostly tried to stay out of the way of the action.
LO: Right you are, which is exactly what I was hoping for. We start off tonight with all three competitors in the ring as the bell sounds...
The screen flips to the ring where each competitor has chosen a corner to stand in when the bell is sounded. Kowloon looks ready to go as he bounds out to the center of the ring, but is taken aback when both Benny and Mike rush in on the big man to start waylaying with rights and lefts. Kowloon gives Mike a shove backwards that sends them down to the canvas, and then launches a heavy handed lariat that drops Stevens. By the time he turns back around to McGuire they are back on their feet and charging right for him, launching into the air to catch him with a Lous Thesz Press that drops him to his back. McGuire drives piston like right hands into Kowloon's skull as Benny gets to his feet and grabs Mike by the shoulders, flipping them off of the big man so that he can enjoy his own free shots. Mike looks up in bewilderment that quickly turns to rage as they get a running go before sending a boot into the side of Stevens' skull. This sends him tumbling off of Kowloon, who is thankful for the reprieve as he rolls away from the action. Benny scrambles up to his feet only to catch a European Uppercut that sends hims sprawling back to dangle against the top rope, where he is promptly sent up and over to crash on the floor by a McGuire Running Lariat. Mike looks down at The Daredevil satisfied as they turn back around just in time to walk right into a Mafia Kick from Kowloon. McGuire snaps down to the mat clutching their face as Kowloon reaches down and jerks them up only to put them back down with a thunderous Scoop Slam. Mike proceeds to try to put some distance between them and the hulking Zombie, but he won't have any of it...grabbing them by both ankles, and commencing to begin a Big Swing in the center of the ring.
KO: Now this is where Stevens proved to be a bit of a genius. While Kowloon is having their way with Mike in the ring, he's recovering on the outside and just watching from a kneeling position at the ring apron!
LO: Yeah, I noticed that too, and it's sound strategy in an unpredictable multi-man match like this.
KO: Kowloon proceeded to show some more of that power when he Gorilla Pressed Mike up over his head and then launched them up before getting out of the way so that they'd land gut first on the mat.
LO: Then he proceeded to nail a huge Belly to Belly Suplex followed by a cover which I was sure would draw Steven's back into the match, but didn't.
KO: He figured that Mike would kick out, and he was right. He just kept his position while Kowloon made the mistake of posing for the cheering crowd.
LO: Yeah, and that's about the time that he got a rude awakening thanks to the Chimera Tag Team Champion.
Kowloon continues to flex for the cheering crowd, unaware that Mike McGuire is rising behind them with a look of contempt on their face. Just when Kowloon makes to go flex on the other side of the ring he gets his plow clocked with a leaping forearm that sends him like a shot gun blast back into the nearby corner. Mike rushes in and leaps up to the second to start dropping bomb like right hands down into the Zombie's skull. Despite having just been cheering for Kowloon, the fans begin counting along with the fan favorite tag team expert as he caves the big man's skull in. Kowloon eventually sags to where he's sitting on the second turnbuckle, and Mike hops down and falls back a few steps before charging back in with a Running Back Elbow that crushes him in the corner. Instead of letting Kowloon go down he Snap Mares the big man forward with leverage into a seated position right in front of him, and then bounds off the ropes in front to come careening back in with a Sliding Forearm Smash that snaps him down to the canvas. Mike goes for a cover, but this time it's Kowloon who kicks out, and with authority.
LO: Stevens still stood on the outside during that pin attempt, and too his credit, the other two actually seemed to have forgotten about him.
KO: I'm telling you, Laur, it was genius. Until he had to get involved cause McGuire was about to put their opponent away...
LO: Well, Mike didn't end his assault on the Zombie with that pin attempt, promptly following up with a Rubbernecker Swinging Neckbreaker on a rising Kowloon that look like it might have twisted the man's head off!
KO: Yeah, and it damn near led to a three count, but that is the moment that Stevens decided to strike, leaping to the apron and performing a Springboard Leg Drop off the top to the back of McGuire's neck to break up the pin.
McGuire clutches the back of their neck as Benny gets them up to their feet and then runs them head first right up and over the top rope to slam against the concrete floor in an abrupt landing. Kowloon is still dazed as Benny slides in to try and pick up the easy victory, but this time Kowloon kicks out on his own power at two and a half. A little frustrated that wasn't enough Benny quickly zips out to the apron and climbs up the turnbuckles, but just when he gets perched across the top Kowloon snaps up to his feet and rushes in, Grabbing the man by the throat and the groin. Benny comically shakes his head 'No' as Kowloon looks down from the ring at a rising Mike McGuire. With a gleam in his eye, and every fan in attendance on their feet, the big man launches Stevens from the top to crash land on Mike McGuire, wiping both of them out.
LO: From here Kowloon headed to the outside where we thought that one of those two might be dead.
KO: Yeah, it was sort of a dire situation when the big man yanked Stevens up to his feet and tossed him back into the ring, and that only after football kicking McGuire so that they lay crumpled up by the ring steps.
LO: Kowloon then slid into the ring where Stevens was trying to make it to his feet, and promptly slipped in behind him and locked on an Abdominal Stretch.
KO: And boy did Benny howl, especially considering that Zombie was really flexing those muscles in an attempt to separate some ribs.
LO: I genuinely thought that we were in danger of a submission here as he was locked in for several seconds, but then Mike McGuire proved you can't keep them down!
McGuire holds onto the ring post to stead them as they climb the steps up onto the apron, and then slips into the ring unnoticed behind where Kowloon is trying to grind Benny down. Mike nods to the crowd who hold their breath in anticipation as they rush past the two men to hit off the ropes in front of them, and then spring back to launch a vicious looking Haymaker Punch with momentum into Kowloon's jaw. The Zombie's eyes roll back into their head as their arms slacken, allowing Benny to fall thankfully to the mat, and Mike smirks at him before poking his shoulder. Kowloon falls backwards flat on the mat and Mike is quick to fall onto him with a hook of the leg, and just as the referee's hand is coming down for three, the Chimera Tag Champ is shoved off by a stiff moving Benny Stevens to make the save. Mike slowly rises, frustration mounting, as Benny clutches at his rib cage while slowly starting to back up. The N.S.F.W. member leaps over Kowloon's prone body and unloads on Benny with rights and lefts, driving the man all the way back into the far corner. Benny does his best to cover up, but Mike is like a crazy person, the fists flying with unpredictability and often. Finally, McGuire takes Stevens by the wrist and Irish Whips him across the ring to the opposite side, forcing him to leap over Kowloon or be tripped. He slams into the turnbuckles chest first, doing even more damage to his ribs as he stumbles out clutching them. Mike moves forward determined, looking like an agent of Death, and Benny appears trapped. Just as McGuire steps up onto Kowloon's chest and then back down to the mat, Benny springs forward, leaps up to post his boot off of their thigh, and then swings the other foot around to nail them in the back of the head with a shocking Enzuguri he calls Gaijin's Revival.
LO: Instead of going down with the move, the impact actually propelled face first into the top turnbuckle she had just sent Benny...
KO: Allowing him to catch her stumbling out with a schoolboy pin, right up and over top of Kowloon's body, and technically using his elevated position sitting atop the big man for a leverage pin and the 1, 2, 3!
LO: It's one of the damndest things I've ever seen, and a surprising end to this fantastic Triple Threat that saw all three superstars shine.
KO: Yeah, but at the end of the day, that brilliant strategy at the start by Benny, and then being as quick as a hiccup really saved him here. Plus...he literally posted up off of Kowloon Zombie. Another person usually won't be there to do that for you.
LO: No doubt, and Benny celebrated his first win in the company by acting like he won the God Damn Olympics...
KO: Heh, don't steal his thunder, Laur.
LO: Whatever, so we have some footage of him after the match talking with some fans. It's enlightening...
KO: If you say so...

After a brief Battleground Network commercial followed by highlight footage of the previous match, we are taken backstage where Benny Stevens is seen interacting with a small group of VPW fans - for instance, the barricade is the only obstacle between the latter and the VPW wrestler. Stevens, obviously looking moderately tired and in pain after an intense fight, does his best to sign t-shirts and other merchandise with a smile on his face combined with a calm manner. A specific fan notices his behavior and manages to catch Benny’s attention with a question between the constant hollering and noises.
FAN: Why are you so chill, though, Benny?
Benny’s calmness remains, and so does the smile. He focuses on signing another shirt for a moment before turning his attention to said fan.
FAN: Shouldn’t you be ecstatic after winning the match? It’s your first victory after years!
Benny nonchalantly replies while posing besides two fans who are trying to take a selfie picture.
BENNY STEVENS: Shitsuke.
FAN: What you say?
Once Benny is done taking pictures and signing the last objects, he turns to the fan. The man says the following while tapping his face’s temple with the right index finger.
BENNY STEVENS: Discipline.
FAN: Ummm… Okay?
BENNY STEVENS: What do you expect me to do? Euphoria will do nothing but diverge me from the path. The past is the past. I won, onto the next one now.
FAN: Yeah, but-...
The cheering of the fans surrounding the area makes it impossible for us to comprehend what was just said. Even Benny couldn’t hear it properly; therefore, he raises his voice a bit.
BENNY STEVENS: You the new VPW interviewer or something? I know Brad is still going through phase four of the Fantanasy rehab!
The crowd gets even louder at the mention of his tag partner. Benny smiles and soaks up the moment, even though he knows damn well that they aren’t even cheering for him at that specific moment. He then requests silence.
FAN: Well, may I ask you some questions?
Benny just laughs.
BENNY STEVENS: My legs are about to give up on me and the fans watching us are about to fall asleep… So if you’re quick, I might answer them.
The fan wasn’t actually expecting the okay from Benny, so he freezes on the spot once not only Stevens and the crowd focus on him, but so does the cameraman.
FAN: Right… So… Ummm… Okay, so, Benny, what are your thoughts on Kawhi leaving the Raptors?
BENNY STEVENS: Good for him. The Raptors won’t even make it to the playoffs next year given the fact that he carried y’all.
The fans around, obviously, boo right away. Benny laughs at their reaction and stretches his arms, clearly having fun.
BENNY STEVENS: Nah, seriously, you got any wrestling related question? Come on, champ, it’s your moment to shine. You might fuck around and even steal Stoke’s job!
The fan gets excited and asks the following with his chest puffed.
FAN: How do you feel knowing that your mentor is probably watching you right now?
BENNY STEVENS: Inspired.
FAN: And you won the match. He must be very proud of you! What would you tell him-?
He is interrupted by a stern mysterious voice.
? : Useless “interview”. Useless screen time usage. Goddamn it, Ben.
Benny is caught off guard by that voice, which by his reaction, he recognizes right away. The camera moves backward a bit and we see a blond man behind him, arms crossed.
? : You should be healing your mind and body instead of wasting your time with these stupid sons of bitches.
Benny laughs then hugs the man.
BENNY STEVENS: Didn’t expect you to be here so soon, old fool.
ANTHONY STEVENS: Hey, nice fight, son. Anata wa songen o motte tatakatta.
FAN: WHAT?
BENNY STEVENS: Songen.
FAN: SAY WHAT!?
BENNY STEVENS: Dignity.
The fans request pictures with both Benny and his father. The Daredevil and his dad; however, simply turn their backs and walk out of frame. The camera follows them for a quick moment and we notice that Anthony appears to be giving Benny a pep talk as they walk away. Finally, the camera gets back to the fans cheering, and that’s when the scene slowly fades.
LO: You know, I wasn't sure what state of mind Katya Djurdjevic would be in for this match after her tragic loss to Danny Rizzo at Honor Bound, but she seemed in pretty good spirits as she made her way down to the ring.
KO: Oh, will you come off it already!?! You say tragic like she lost a kid or found out she has cancer! She lost a freakin' title match, fair and square!
LO: Fair and square? Really? That's the narrative you want to go with?
KO: What? She doesn't have the title does she?
LO: Whatever. Drell came to the ring in his typical red haze, and despite how the more sensible members of the crowd feel about it, I saw some lighters going up for the leader of 'Let It Burn'...
KO: And why not? He and Danny have been tearing it up. The people are just starting to finally get past this idiotic idea that you aren't supposed to do anything in order to win. Of course you are!
LO: Well, Katya was a little wary of Kavan as the two locked up for the first time, but what was a pleasant surprise was to see how well she kept pace, making me believe that she's doing better than we thought.
KO: Yeah, I'll give her that. She and Drell went through quite the chain wrestling revival which had the fans cheering throughout, until of course the time for dancing was over and Drell had to kick the girl in her bum knee.
LO: That does seem to be his way, doesn't it? The minute it appears that he might be outclassed, he switches tactics to go for blunt force trauma.
KO: Laurence, you really do need to have your head examined. That's what anyone in this sport should aspire to do. It's called adapting...
LO: Yeah, that is until he stood on Katya's hair and tried to pull her body off the canvas in a painful position. That's the tactics of a bully!
KO: HEY! If she doesn't want her hair yanked out by the root, she ought to cut it short! This isn't a beauty contest, it's a FIGHT!
Laurence shakes his head in exaspiration before pushing the button that flips the screen over to the action where the referee is all over Kaven Drell as he pulls Katya up by a fistfull of the aforementioned hair. Both competitors are perspiring after their calisthenics workout during the chain wrestling, and Kaven sneers in Katya's face before running her face first into the top turnbuckle of the nearest corner. He promptly pulls up the leg that was injured during her UnYielding Title match at Honor Bound and laces it through the middle and bottom rope before yanking up abruptly. Katya cries out, proving that all of the wrestling she's been doing since Honor Bound has probably only exacerbated the injury rather than help it. Kaven smirks as he maintains his unfolds her from the ropes and leads her out away from the corner on one leg, before promptly snapping into a high thigh Dragon Leg Drag. Katya snaps down to the canvas and cries out in pain again, tucking her knee to her chest and cradling it with both hands as the referee tries to check to see if she can continue.
LO: Kaven Drell was like a shark smelling blood in the water, especially when Katya began to favor the leg during their chain wrestling exchanges. From here he began working the limb with various strikes to the hamstring, knee ligaments, and even an ankle DDT that sent shockwaves all the way through her leg.
KO: You know, it was two fold for me, Laur. On one hand, watching Kaven Drell dismantle another human being was sort of a thing of beauty, while on the other, seeing a sweet girl like Katya in that much pain was a little heart wrenching. Even to me.
LO: Oh, I'm sure Katya appreciates that, Kenneth. Why don't you write her a fan letter or something expressing what an ass you really are.
KO: Geez...a little sensitive when it comes to the Straight Line Demon aren't we?
LO: Shut up...
Kaven drags what is obviously not a 100% Katya Djurdjevic to the center of the ring after hitting several tailbone strikes off the second rope down into her battered knee joint, and now smirks to the booing crowd as he winds around her leg and drops back into a Figure Four Leg Lock. Katya immediately cries out in pain, snapping down to the mat and only pushing back up when the referee almost counts a three. The pain is severe as Drell pushes up on his hands to get as much leverage as he can on the injured knee, rocking so that it lifts her legs up off the canvas. Each one of these sends shooting pain from Katya's knee all the way down to her toes and back, and it's all she can do to vehemently shake her head 'No' to the referee when he asks for a submission. Despite all of that, the valiant warrior within her won't die, and Kaven watches on in a mixture of awe and disgust when she digs into the canvas and claws to try and drag them towards the ropes. After long and writhing seconds, Katya finally desperately grabs the bottom rope, and the ref forces Kaven to release the hold, but only after reaching a four and a half warning count. Kaven watches as Katya pulls herself all the way through the ropes to sit on the apron and chuckles, before signaling to the crowd that he's about to put her out of her misery.
LO: Drell was pretty cocky, and honestly, who could blame him. He had Katya right where he wanted her after working the leg for a solid ten minutes with nearly no reprieve for his opponent.
KO: Yeah, but even I didn't see this coming. It just goes to show how desperation can make a person do just about anything.
LO: Except for cheat, cause that's not who Katya Djurdjevic is.
KO: Shut up, Laur...
Drell moves in on Katya, reaching over the ropes to pull her up to her feet on the apron by the hair of her head. That is when Katya reaches up and hooks Drell around the back of his head, and falls straight down to her bum, Hot Shotting the man across the top rope and sending him sprawling back to the canvas. He's up quickly, but so is Katya, albeit on one leg, and to everyone amazement as Drell rushes in on her she grips the top rope and uses it to slingshot herself back into the ring for a Single Leg Dropkick that catches him flush in the jaw. Kaven slams down to the mat as Katya scoots back over to the ropes to assist her back to her feet, and she hops around the ring to get in behind Drell as he pushes back up. She charges in, or hobbles quickly, leaping forward to grab Drell by the back of the head with a Single Hand Bulldog that plants him face first back into the canvas. The impact flips him over onto his back, and Katya scrambles as fast as he can towards the closest corner, where she leaps into the, spreading both legs apart before the back of her thighs hit the ropes, and she springs back with a Split Legged Moonsault.
LO: Katya hooked the leg deep for a cover, but still only managed a long two count, and the look of disappointment on her face was nearly heartbreaking.
KO: The longer this match went, it was obvious that the worse the damage to that knee was going to be. She knew she had to do something big, so she head out to the apron and started up to the top turnbuckle...
LO: I would assume that she was going to go for her Thundering Skies, but we'll never know, cause it took her quite awhile to get up there, giving Drell all the time in the world to get to his feet and interrupt the process.
KO: That wasn't even the worst of it. Don't give a man like Kaven Drell an opening, cause he'll take it and run...
Kaven stands on the second turnbuckle facing the crowd with Katya Djurdjevic directly in front of him. He has already bashed her across the skull several times with his fist, making it easy to pick up her much smaller frame in a Powerslam position. But instead of spinning off the ropes, he simply bounds backwards, taking her with him for an Avalanche Fall Away slam that sends shockwaves through the ring. Drell lies there for a moment, the move having taken something out of him as well, but he slowly gets over onto his stomach and begins to crawl until reaching Katya and draping his forearm over her chest. When she kicks out just as the referee's hand is coming down for three, you would have thought that pyro had just gone off on a live mic with the crowd reaction. Kaven shakes his head in disbelief as he crawls to get back to his feet, and once there he looks out at the crowd, signaling that this is done. He yanks Katya up to her feet and holds on finger up to his lips, giving her the 'Shhh' sound before raring back to go for his repeated Headbutts. It's a shock to him and everyone else when Katya drops down to a seated position before the first one can land, and uses her good leg to wind between Drells and twists violently to the right to take his legs out from under him. Katya scoots quickly towards the ropes as Drell rises from the trip, shaking his head at Katya just as she pulls herself up by use of the top rope. Just as he's almost upon her, she hooks the top rope with both arms and sends a boot into his gut which doubles him over. Still holding the ropes for stability, that same good leg flashes up into a knee strike right into Drell's face that snaps him back upright....and that's when Katya grabs the man by the wrists, lifts the boot of her bad leg under his jaw, and then snaps backwards into her patented Deathblow.
LO: Drell did not see that coming! He thought he had Katya dead to rights, and she proved that she was here to stay despite the odds.
KO: Go ahead, Laur. Tell them. I know you're dying too....
LO: After that, Katya knew if Drell kicked out that she probably wouldn't get another chance, so instead of going for a pin she went for the nail in the coffin. Managed to climb the turnbuckles from inside the ring which gave her a little better ground, and Thundering Skies put this one to bed for the 1, 2, 3!
KO: Yeah, yeah, and Katya celebrated, the fans went nuts, and what happened next....well....that was REALLY interesting.
KO: Oh, will you come off it already!?! You say tragic like she lost a kid or found out she has cancer! She lost a freakin' title match, fair and square!

Winner via Pinfall: KATYA DJURDJEVIC
Following his contest with Katya Djurdjevic, Kaven Drell rolls outside of the ring with a sinister grin on his face. It’s clear that everything that happened within the ring was a joy to him, regardless of the outcome. As he falls to the floor, he pushes himself back against the security barrier and heaves deep breaths of oxygen into and out of his lungs. Tilting his head backward, he rests his head against the barrier and stares upward toward the ceiling before rotating his gaze toward the timekeepers table where he shouts for someone to bring him a microphone. Hurriedly one is retrieved and brought to him, which he snatches out of the workers hand.
KAVEN DRELL: You see now, Katya?
A few more deeps breaths of air are breathed into and out of his lungs as he rests his arms on bent knees. Drell continues to grin, touching his jaw and licking his lips for a moment before he speaks again.
KAVEN DRELL: It doesn’t matter what you do inside of that ring. WIn, lose or draw the end result is all the same. Why fight for those who would turn on you in the blink of an eye? Why speak up and stand up for those who only support you when your interests align with theirs? Why not live, and fight, for yourself? Why not make your name for yourself, and no one else. Why not come to my embrace and let me show you the way… as so many others have begun to do?
Holding his arms out as though offering her a welcoming hug, Drell looks upward and nods head.
KAVEN DRELL: Let me show you…
With a loud bang the entirety of the building is plunged into the heavy darkness that Drell seems to have such an affinity for. Moments pass, with hearts nearly beating out of chests, and then a flicker of light ignites on the opposite side of the building. And then another. And another. And all around the arena firelight from lighters spark to life growing and growing in number.
KAVEN DRELL: My flock is growing, Katya, we welcome you. Stand for yourself, as so many others have chosen to do before you. Resist what the corrupt suits demand of you. Unleash the demon upon them all. Come to me, Katya…. I am waiting.
The familiar deranged laughter of Kaven Drell can be heard for a few brief moments before it falls quiet. As it does, those same lights that had ignited just a few seconds earlier all suddenly begin to go dark. One by one they flash out of existence until one remains, lingering for a moment. And then another. And another. Until finally it is extinguished too.
When the lights come back up, Drell is nowhere to be found. But not only is Drell missing from ringside, but every seat that had been home to one of those lighters that had ignited, now finds itself empty as well. An eerie silence falls over the arena, with those who remain uncertain of what has just happened. The scene fades out to the Valor Pro logo, and then to black.
