The Commodore didn’t offer much sanctuary from the gusty of winds that were quickly turning into a Gale; Olli was long gone into the woods for shelter but our Intrepid explorer and her faithful hellhound were sticking by their old friend. Shutters down and hunkered in, you have to wonder if this was going to be the end for our Galactic Princess and her furry companion?!
Winds and dust swirling up higher than the tippiest top of the top ofthe trees twisting and sucking up everything in its path, nuns and bikes and farms OHMY! Nothing was safe from the clutches of the airborne tundra as it surged down the open road and right towards the Commodore…

With a slump and a bump and a shudder of terrifying proportions slammed the commodore down onto the ground, spins and twirls ending in a jolt drew Indi and her companion from the depths of its bowls, looking back she noticed a pair of curled black booties sticking out from under the commodore, bit weird admittedly but this is Indi and weird is kinda part of the deal…
“Uhhh… I don’t think we’re in living color anymore HH?” Indi; who’s weirdly dressed in this little blue and white cheesecloth get up, long blonde hair in a high braid? Looks to her buddy and shrugs her shoulders.
She’s not wrong either, the whole thing is a little bit fuzzy - like it was filmed in black and white and someone went back later one and filled in the blank - LIVE AND IN TECHNICOLOR! - anyway, so she looks to HH and HH looks to her and she goes to say something, but those booties kinda wiggle a little bit and she shrieks.
Yeah, she shrieks. Indi.
I know, its weird but go with it.
So Indi shrieks and the booties kinda shudder and shake and then they disappear under the vehicle and she looks around which is when we all notice that the bushes are shaking a little… Which means we get to meet the first character… COOL!

Someone should really tell Moxie that pink is her color! So anyway, there she is in this big freakin marshmallow pink dress, curls and wand and a crown on her head, the whole works and she’s talking to all these little kids who are probably munchkins but anyway… Out she steps and Indi says.
“Wait, aren’t you the final boss?”
she’s right you know.
And Moxie the good witch, who just about radiates greatness and light shakes her head with a little giggle that would likely make the real Moxie upchuck on the spot, but anyways; she says… “This all starts with me, just like the path you’re on Indi… You want to make it to the Emerald City where the Wizard can make your wish come true… Just as the path in Valor began with a match with me; so must this story.”
So then she points out the yellow brick road and Indi nods her head to her, but she don’t say too much yet because we all know she has gotta come back later on she is the final boss after all.
So Indi gets HH by the collar and they stare down this yellow brick road…
Toto did not really care whether he was in Kansas or the Land of Oz so long as Dorothy was with him; but he knew the little girl was unhappy, and that made him unhappy too.
Here we go then?
Skipping along that yellow brick road, Indi and HH happened upon a rather sad looking thing, see she hadn’t really seen things go her way for some time now and Indi felt a bit sorry for her; she had been bumrushed and attacked and never even saw it coming, oh man oh man, she really never saw it coming.

There she sits, Katya the Scarecrow; stuffing falling out of places she’s gonna be needing it… Imagine going first to, girl has nothing but something to prove and as they lock eyes they both know it - Indi has a choice, she can leave the scarecrow here or she can let her go on ahead, hope she finds that brain.
“I’m sorry scarecrow.. But see here’s the problem. You had your chance, a lot of them and never once did you look for that brain. You didn’t use your head, you went in headstrong and cocksure and not a moments thought was spared for all the opportunity you wasted.. So, its coming down to me or you scarecrow and I gotta say if thats where its at?”
Fire really is kinda pretty if you look at it up close, isn’t it?

And then those bushes start to ruffle and shake again and… Well it isn’t as cool as the good witch was because what’s in there is a cowardly little lion; shuddering and hiding and when Indi reaches out to poke him…

He runs away. Cause Cross the Cowardly Lion is really really good at that and not much else.
So we aren’t gonna waste more time on him cause honestly there isn’t much more that can be said. Off he runs like the coward he is and there won’t be any Emerald City of courage for him.
not that he deserved it in the first place anyways.
Indi is too busy laughing to look where she is going, which is a bit of a mistake really cause there is this really REALLY loud clang sound as she turns the corner of the yellow brick road and walks full on into a hulking mass of tin.

But he just kinda stands there like this hulking lump… Indi looks around for a second or two but there isn’t anyone else about. Which makes sense to her really since he doesn’t seem to be too much of anything these days without Leela and she doesn’t even have a role in this one!!
“Hey tinman, let me guess… You want a heart?” Indi tries to jostle the unmoving lump with her elbow, he just about moves his head to look at her. “Honestly, I’m not sure you know why you’re here… So let me explain .”
Yes, lets.
“You, Tin man, need a heart because your passion and your drive is split right now. You’re so busy worrying about Leela and her happiness that you caught yourself slipping. Your whole heat rt isn’t in this and this is SEVEN PILLARS my bud, you can’t be coming in here half cocked… Sadly for you, there’s no heart anyone can give you my dude. You gotta find it for yourself, so this… is where your story ends.”
And they don’t loosen him up with an oil can, they don’t teach him to walk again. Cause nobody really cares if the tinman is happy or not and Indi still has a job to do so…

Little Fukushima all dressed up with nowhere to go, looking spooky as heck in her best scary spooky get up that makes Indi smile just a little bit. She has a real soft spot for the odd balls, that’s why this is one of her favourites… But just like in that tag match - someone gotta be the loser and well… Indi isn’t about to hand the key to the city over now.
“I know you think you’re the big bad in all of this, but really I should have jus made you the flying Monkey cause that’s what you are, isn’t it? A lackey for someone else… Not sure you really even know what you’re doing here either. You and Tinman back there have so much in common you’re almost interchangeable… An unfortunate truth. Bit of water on that one and she’s screaming and shrieking like she’s melting… Krähe really did a number on her. Sad really.
Anyway, back on that Yellow Brick road and we are pretty close now - the Emerald City is in view and the wizard isn’t too far off; which is a good thing because she’s already gone through almost everyone set up for this video and her feet are starting to hurt.

Okay so… the wizard probably was supposed to be a bit more impressive than this but Tommy is a dumbass who decided to go and get injured before I got around to this one so there he is, the wizard with some little scooter thing that takes away all the magic but Indi is a pro so she does the little bow thing and she recounts how the scarecrow needs a brain and the lion needs courage and the tinman needs a heart and… none of it matters because she is only here for herself.
“I am the Galactic Princess, the Guardian of the Moon, I dance upon the rings of Saturn with stars in my hair and I have travelled the yellow brick road to stand before you now and ask for your guidance.”
And then Glinda/Moxie shows back up and she explains that Indi had the power to be here the whole time, that it isn’t the greatest wizard wrestling has ever known who can help Indi. It isn't the bookie favourite good witch who can help her.
Nah.
The power to win this has been inside Indi all along.
All she has to do is all she ever had to do.. Be the one to get that hand to tap the mat three times and say…
